I took my dog Millie to One class in person. I purchased the recommended treats and that wasn’t good enough at that class. She was given a tube of peanut butter while training. Within two days, I noticed mouth warts I took Millie to the vet and they instructed me to let them know. I was never offered a refund, but it was so kind of them to let her come back for a couple more classes provided. I spend more money on top of the vet bill And medication. In order for her to come back for the rest of her training package, I had to spend another vet visit to have her cleared along with a letter. Once I reenrolled her in another class four months later I was told I could’ve had a refund, but I already signed up for a future package Millie and I went to one more class and I was treated like I didn’t belong there, Once again, I didn’t have the treats they wanted me to purchase aka go shop our store. I asked them numerous times to not give her any more peanut butter or lick mats because last time she had mouth warts. I’m not saying 100% it was from Think Pawsitive But prior to this, she hadn’t shared anything with other dogs. I felt like the trainer repeatedly singled me out and for what I paid it’s BS! I would never recommend this type of training…. My bad for not reading the description where it said my dog is going to sit in a kennel 3/4 of the session. WASTE of time and money! Communication clearly sucks because I called prior to one of the sessions to explain that I injured my back and we would be skipping this one and upon returning the following week I was treated like why are you here? Live and learn.
What an amazing place! They offer so many things I've never seen before, and the staff are so helpful and friendly. My pup just had her first swimming lesson to ensure she was safe in the water, and we are signed up for the Adult Manners classes that will be the cherry on top. I'm excited to learn the skills that will help me with both her and every dog I have in the future.
I recently moved to WI and was looking for a facility to help my pup and me strengthen our agility foundations. Since I have some prior agility experience, they booked us for an evaluation and Katie helped me find the right class for us. The class was well structured, organized, enriching, and the perfect level of challenging. The instructor tailored our exercises to the level that we were ready for and pushed us without causing my apprehensive pup any fear at all. We both left class feeling confident and excited. Additionally, the facility is huge, clean, and has more equipment than you could hope for. The membership is a great deal and has some nice perks. The trainers are clearly well educated and know how to work with your individual needs and goals. I can’t recommend Think Pawsitive enough.
My husband and I recently moved back to Wisconsin and were looking for a place to take two of our dogs swimming as they were spoiled and had an in-ground pool at our previous home. Think Pawsitive came up in our search and we decided to give it a try. It’s been nothing but a positive experience for us. Both our dogs had to do a swim eval separately and then one together before we could have them swim unsupervised. Today was our first unsupervised session and although we drive a ways to get here, it’s worth the absolute joy it brings our dogs. Excited to have this available to us especially in the winter when outside activities can be limited.
Do not go here. It is a complete ripoff- we went to not even a month of puppy training classes, the instructor was rude, not helpful, and we had an awful experience. I’ve paid for 3 months of this stupid training classes and have had only 1 private lesson given to me because of how bad this class was. This is not worth the money. Customer service has been awful and all around have had an awful experience with this place, I would not recommend this to anyone ma you’d be wasting your time and your money Let me add, if you do not schedule the class under there timeframe through the phone (they clearly do not check email) you will be paying $180 for the month and it will go to waste if not scheduled- regardless of a medical emergency or anything going on in your life, if you don’t use it that month, your money will be wasted. I’ve said I wanted to cancel for over a month, this has also brought up more issues. In order to even cancel, you have to fill out a form- I want nothing to do with this place why the hell would I want to come back and see you? Has been a waste of time speaking to Stephanie and 2 other staff members. Sad excuse of a business
