About

Goldfish Swim School - Brookfield, located at 12565 W Feerick St, Brookfield, WI, offers an array of swim lessons for children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens, in a fun and safe environment. Their tropical-themed facility provides a unique and engaging experience focused on water safety and skill development. They emphasize small class sizes and a proven curriculum to help children become confident swimmers.

The pools at Goldfish Swim School - Brookfield are consistently maintained at a comfortable 90 degrees Fahrenheit (approximately 32 degrees Celsius), ensuring a warm and inviting environment for swimmers of all ages, particularly beneficial for infants and young children.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? Goldfish Swim School generally receives very positive feedback, with many parents highlighting the significant progress and increased confidence their children gain in the water. Instructors are frequently praised for being patient, caring, energetic, and adaptive, especially with toddlers and younger children. The facility is described as clean, warm, and kid-friendly, often featuring amenities like hair dryers and play areas. Parents appreciate the easy make-up class system, good communication, and overall friendly and organized staff. While one initial negative interaction with a coach was reported, a shift lead quickly and gracefully resolved the situation, turning it into a positive experience. A minor concern was raised about the actual age demographic in classes sometimes being younger than advertised, which might be a factor for parents with older children (9-12 years old) considering enrollment.

I absolutely love taking my son to his Goldfish swim lessons! He’s 2 (we started about 8 months ago) and we have a great time regardless of if he wants to follow what the instructor has planned for that day or not. Everyone is friendly and flexible and ready to adapt to the fleeting needs of children. The infant program is repetitive which helps in learning it as a parent and anticipating the child’s need. The instructors are very sweet and it’s great time overall.

Have been told to go here for awhile after being disappointed with Ymca. It's been wonderful for our toddler. She gained so much confidence and keeps learning every week. Her teacher miss Dani is amazing and she enjoys Mr. Jackson helping out too.

Honestly I have a stage 5 Velcro child who loves the water. I wanted him to gain the confidence to swim on his own and goldfish team was so patient and caring with my screaming toddler. Even though I felt embarrassed for the situation, they reassured me that it’s so normal and he will like it. And after the 3rd class, he was begging for more! Make ups are so easy especially with summer schedules and illnesses! Every team member was so helpful and happy to answer any and all concerns I had. Great experience for any parent who wants their child to feel confident and safe in the water.

We’ve had an amazing experience at Goldfish Swim School over the past year! Our daughter has been attending for just over 12 months, and the progress she’s made is incredible. The instructors are patient, energetic, and truly care about each child’s development. The facility is clean, warm, and super kid-friendly — from the tropical décor to the small touches like the hair dryers and play area. Every week she looks forward to her lessons, and it’s been such a joy watching her build confidence in the water. The staff is always friendly and organized, and communication has been great. Highly recommend Goldfish Swim School to any parent looking for a safe, fun, and effective way to teach their kids how to swim!

I was indecisive about what level to sign my daughter up for so I opted for the lower level to be safe. She was the oldest (9) and was a bit embarrassed to be there. After her poor interaction with the swim coach (Giselle) she was ready to leave. Ray, a shift lead, quickly approached us and did just amazing with my daughter. She turned a poor experience into a great one so fast. She had an amazing attitude and knew exactly how to handle the situation with such grace! Online classes say the ages vary up to 12yo but there were only ages 6 and under during our visit. Just something to be aware of if you’re looking for an activity for your child and they are a bit older. Depending on how next session goes, we may not renew for this reason.
