Public swimming pool that's good for kids.
Graydon Park's swimming area is a man-made lake, not a temperature-controlled pool. Consequently, its water temperature is natural and varies seasonally with the ambient weather conditions; specific constant temperature data is not regularly provided.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this location are mixed. Positive aspects highlight a spectacular fireworks display, a lovely park with a sense of safety, and it being a great place to connect with nature. One reviewer shared fond, nostalgic memories of growing up there, praising its spring-fed, clean water, sandy beaches, and opportunities for sand play and diving. However, there are significant negative points, including a very poor experience with rude staff who unfairly denied access to a deep water test, and strong complaints about the pond smelling and looking bad, leading to a recommendation against swimming. One review also mentioned the park could benefit from more upkeep, despite a nice neighborhood.

Keep it green! I grew up spending endless summer days playing in the sand and joining the impromptu big splash contests off the high dive. As a teenager I was a lifeguard and had the most memorable experience and life lessons ever. The water is actually spring fed and is much cleaner than most chlorine pools. It's an all natural organic version with Sandy beaches great for building castles. Love.
Our first 4th of July here. What a spectacular display of fireworks. Very impressive. The police and fire crews were everywhere to direct the crowd. It made us feel very safe and secure. Lovely park.
Because my friend’s parents brought us there and payed for our ticket, we went over to them where a school was also allowed to go. We wanted to take the deep water test, but the lady said we were with the school, so couldn’t take it. We told them we weren’t, but she said she saw us coming from where only the school was supposed to go. We said that’s where the people taking care of us were, so we were dropping some things off. They told us to leave and were very rude. We went to a friend’s house. Besides, it the pond smelt very bad and looked even worse. Would not recommend going here to swim.
Best place to spend some time with mother nature.
I went with my son for a tournament. This neighbour is really nice. They can fix up the park more but all in all it was nice.
