Public pool with an area for diving, good for kids.
As a spring-fed, unheated freshwater pool, Graydon Pool's temperature naturally fluctuates with environmental and groundwater conditions. Specific temperature readings are not regularly published, but it is typically described as refreshing for swimming during its summer operating season.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Graydon Pond, often described as a unique, lake-like 'pool,' offers diverse areas for all ages, including shallow sections for children, a 3.5ft area, a 12ft deep adult swimming area with diving boards and raft platforms, and a lap swimming section. Many positive memories are associated with it, and it features a snack bar and a nearby playground. Membership is considered reasonable, and some find the staff friendly. However, significant concerns are raised regarding the water quality, which many describe as 'gross' or like pond water, leading some to feel it's outdated for a modern town. One review specifically criticized a rude manager and incompetent lifeguards.

An amazing and unique town pool that has the feel of a lake. It has something for all ages. A word of caution do not underestimate how big this pool is if you plan to do a swim across the entire thing.
My brothers & I LIVED at this pool during the summer. Very wholesome vibe left great memories (50+ yrs later).
I fully understand that Graydon Pond is historical, but the water quality is like pond water that hundreds of kids swim in every day. Ridgewood is a really nice town and deserves a modern pool complex like most other nice towns have. The snack shack is good, the staff are friendly, the membership is reasonable, etc but none of this overrides the central fact that the pond itself is kind of gross.
manager was rude for no reason, lifeguards have no idea what they’re doing, no respect whatsoever, do not recommend
The "pool" is a large man made lake pond. It has an area for the little kids to play, one 3.5ft for older kids and adults, and one full 12ft deep adult swimming area, plus raft platforms and diving boards in the deep area. There's also a lap swimming section, a snack bar, and a playground nearby.
