What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews indicate a mixed experience at the pool. Positives include a generally clean and well-maintained facility, offering a fun day out, especially on hot days, with lifeguards, a children's play area, and games like checkers and chess. Some visitors cherish nostalgic memories of the place. However, there are several criticisms: rules regarding locks, showering, and no phones/photography are strictly enforced, and some staff members are noted for having an 'attitude' or being 'horrible.' Other complaints include a lack of lounge chairs, rough surfaces around the pool, and an inexplicable queuing system that makes people wait even when the pool and lockers are not full. The pool's operating schedule is described as 'weird,' with instances of it not opening on time. Visitors are advised to bring their own lock (as not all fit), sunblock, water, a hat, and a towel, and to be aware of separate entrances for men and women.

Had a very fun day at the pool! Make sure to bring a lock, leave your phone in the lockers, and shower before you enter the pool - these rules are pretty strictly enforced, but there are staff members throughout the entrance area to guide you through the process (although some of them had a bit of an attitude). Men and women enter in separate entrances. Wish there were more lounge chairs and that the area around the pool was a little less rough on the feet, but overall it was a clean, cold pool and everyone was enjoying it!
When we arrived at the swimming pool, there was a line with about 10 people waiting. We waited our turn as they allowed people in one by one when someone else left. We assumed this was because all the lockers were occupied and we had to wait for one to become available. However, once we got inside, we found plenty of empty lockers and very few people in the pool. Only about a quarter of the pool was being used. I don't understand why they don't let people in without making them wait in line. As for the pool itself, it is clean and well-maintained. There are lifeguards on duty, a children's play area, and facilities to play checkers, chess, and in a sandbox. Naturally, as with all pools, photography and bringing your phone are not allowed.
Open at A4:00 now is 4:20 and they don’t open and the staff is horrible
I grew up coming to this place with family and friends , but more with my Niece (we 4Yrs apart btw) we were in the pool almost everyday and collecting money from family members and friends to buy (Piraguas) from the multiples carts that use to line up around the entrance, I miss those days and am so happy I got to take my 3 youngest daughter last weekend for the first time 😊
Very clean. Don’t forget to bring a lock (not every lock fits), sunblock, water, hat and towel. Weird schedule - closes at 3 reopens at 4pm. Amazing for the hot day. Enjoy✨
