About

Lefrak City Pool, located at 98-38 57th Ave, Corona, NY 11368, USA, is a popular outdoor community pool primarily serving the residents of the vast Lefrak City complex and the surrounding Queens neighborhood. Open seasonally during the summer, it offers a refreshing recreational space for swimming and relaxation, often featuring a main pool and sometimes a smaller children's pool.

Information regarding the specific, regulated temperature of the pool(s) at Lefrak City Pool is generally not publicly available. As a seasonal outdoor facility, its water temperature typically fluctuates with the ambient weather conditions during its operational summer months.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the Lefrak City pool are largely mixed to negative, though some practical information is provided. Many residents complain about the pool's cleanliness, describing it as 'raggedy' and unsanitary ('full of piss and creeps'). Staff are frequently criticized for being rude and inattentive, with lifeguards reportedly ignoring children fighting. Pricing is a major point of contention, with entrance fees ranging from $10-12 per person deemed 'outrageous' and 'expensive af,' especially considering inconsistent operating hours and instances of the pool not being open when advertised due to cleaning or inaccurate signage. One user noted liking the 'redone' appearance. The pool is characterized as a 'small cozy' or 'beach-type' pool for kids, with a maximum depth of 4'2". Crucially, it is exclusively for Lefrak City residents, requiring a resident key FOB and typically a token for entry (though cash is currently accepted as the token machine is broken). Attendees must be 15 or older to enter alone, and small floaties are permitted. It operates Monday through Friday until Labor Day.

This pool is full of piss and creeps, the staff is extremely rude. Expensive af and staff acting like they celebrities all up in this joint. Don’t bring your kids here if you love them. The most raggedy pool in all of nyc

Wanted a pool day with the kids. They arent even open! Still cleaning, like seriously?!? For the entrance fee on top of rent, this pool should've been ready to go weeks ago. We need a break from this pandemic. Lefrak sucks

I like how they have redone it but I hate how they close at different times on different days when the sign still says it closes at 7:00. I was at the pool and I got there around 4:01 and they closed at 5:45 I don’t care that they closed so early but at least change the sign and they could have said something like “we’re closing in a hour so it’s best if you don’t get in” I wasted 36 dollars on a pool that my kids only got to swim one hour. The price is outrageous $12 dollars a person and you can’t even bring somebody who doesn’t live in Lefrak, Oh and the Life Guards just sit and talk to each other while kids are FIGHTING in the pool absolutely ridiculous.

For Lefrak City residents only, you have buy a token at the token machine by the bathrooms & make sure to bring your key FOB for entry, it has to match the adults information the key was issued to. It's open Monday-Friday up until Labor Day. Great beach type pool for the kids, it goes from ground level to 4 Feet 2 Inches on the deepest part.
