Came here a few weeks ago I was in the area and decided to give it a try. Lots of cute twinks and jocks to work out with in the gym which was nice. Got to meet a few cute guys in the men’s locker room and got their numbers as well. Only bad thing is as I was coming back into the locker room from swimming to get changed a big spider dropped from the ceiling and took my bathing suit and hung it in its web. It was a brand new bathing suit and I was not about to get it out of the web it looked sticky and disgusting. So I told one of the lifeguards and he laughed and said that happens sometimes. That’s fine I will just buy another one I guess. Then as I was swimming in the pool there was this creepy drain looking grate on the wall that had a huge fan looking thing inside. Didn’t turn on but if it did I’m sure it would suck u right in! Watch out for the spiders 🕷️ in the men’s locker room.
My kids seem to enjoy the activities there with their respective instructors for soccer, gymnastics, and swimming. However, with summer camp going on, the facility is quite dirty. I took a broom and swept the gym floor as quickly as I could before the commencement of gymnastics (where my daughter is walking around barefoot). I hope that with the influx of traffic, we do a better job of staffing and with maintenance.
Just joined recently and I’m hoping I’m going to be able to come back and change my rating. But the very first day I was there and using the cardio machines, I saw at least seven adults stop using machines and not wiping anything down. Covered in sweat. So old sanitation stations should be replaced with bins that just have alcohol wipes to pull out. You will get germs just by touching the bottle of hand sanitizer. And wiping down machines should be enforced by the staff. It’s disgusting. It’s full of germs and it’s going to make people sick. There’s no reason to not make it easy and accessible for people to wipe down all machines. Safety first. Was so looking forward to to this place. Forget the fact that it looks like overall the floors and cardio machine machines haven’t been cleaned in a very long time. I just don’t get how a gym can be so dirty. This isn’t dirt just from sweat. It’s dirty from people just not cleaning up after themselves, and obviously the organization not having a cleaning company clean on a regular basis. Very disappointed. 😔
My child needs time to practice swimming, but the pool isn’t available for children until 5pm. The pool is empty now. It would be helpful if we could book even a short half-hour on a Friday morning for practice.
I’ve had a great experience with the staff and facilities here. My only wish is for the water filters to be replaced on time, as the machines are often lit up for filter replacement and the water tastes funny. Special shoutout to Maiya who gives the best massage (highly recommend)!
