The residential aspect also receives high praise, with a long-term resident commending spacious apartments, an immaculate building, and polite, helpful staff. Competed in a stableford tournament at this beautiful track a week ago and was a point behind the leader in the MGA Net division with one hole left (uphill but short 9th hole, shotgun start on 10th). I was able to hit a low flight fade with my 9° Ping G430 Max driver (used for 2 rounds) that skimmed the left side of the fairway before fading and landed on the right side of the fairway, 34 yards away. My chipping performance during that day's round with my 39° running wedge was abysmal to mediocre at best (majority of my chips that day ended up over 15 feet away from the hole and there were no chips that ended up within 6 feet from the hole) until this hole but I decided to give it one more chance after seriously considering my 9-iron instead for my second shot but made the right decision to give my running wedge one last chance. Pin was set about 15 yards from the false front and 10 yards left of a small mound. Hit a solid chip and landed close enough to my intended spot at the mound right of the hole about 20 yards away from the hole. I watched it bounce twice and roll left with just enough speed towards the pin before disappearing into the hole for my second and unbelievable hole-out eagle that clinched the Net division tournament. Btw, shot 81 with 2 eagles, a birdie and a quad. The first eagle was a bit easier, a conventional eagle courtesy of a 3 foot eagle putt on a Par 5 after flushing a 194 yard 5 wood from the fairway. I would have liked to break 80 for the first time ever but I'm more than ecstatic with this outcome. Overall, the course was immaculate, the greens ran true and the fairways were well-maintained. Beware of some holes where the rough was pretty thick and sticky that was probably one of the reasons why I made a quad. There was no driving range but there were two hitting bays on site. Practice green was by the first hole tee box. Pro Shop was well stocked and golf course personnel were attentive and friendly.
Safety is my first policy and today at the pool I noticed that there was lifeguards that were sitting on one chair for many hours at a time with no break and that puts me and my family and everyone around me at risk so they really need to get this sorted.
I was verbally assaulted here tonight by a guard with terrible manners and even worse hearing. I was trying to explain to him that I was new to driving and gotten turned around. I needed to park to figure out how to make my way back and he yelled at me whilst he banged his hand on my windshield angrily. The woman security guard wasn’t much better because she spoke to me as if I was a 3 year old child. I had simply gotten lost and needed a place to stop and they were extremely nasty towards me. I will be reaching out to a lawyer on the next steps so these two know how to treat people instead of racially profiling and discriminating.
Please do not buy here or sign up for a membership. The management is terrible, I would never allow anyone I love to step foot on this property. Buyer beware! Terrible experience here.
My grandmother just turned 92 and has been living here for about 20 years. Her apartment is spacious and beautiful. The entire building is immaculate and the staff is so polite and helpful to her and her guests. There is literally anything a person could need located right in the building! It is very comforting to know she is safe and happy here.
