Pool complex with diving boards and water slides, plus a cafe and a snack bar.
Specific pool temperatures for the Paramus Pool are not publicly advertised. As a seasonal outdoor municipal facility, the pools are typically unheated and maintained at comfortable ambient temperatures suitable for summer swimming.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This recreational facility generally receives positive feedback for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and various amenities including multiple pools (with diving areas and sprinklers), a playground, and a volleyball court. Guests appreciate the flexibility of bringing outside food and discounts for teachers and veterans. However, key issues include a significant lack of shade and overly restrictive rules regarding personal shade items. A highly criticized policy restricts children under four to only the kiddie splash pool, even with parental supervision in intermediate pools, which many find illogical and frustrating given the facility's higher pricing. While snack bar staff are efficient, the food itself receives mixed reviews, often described as 'nothing special.' Another minor concern raised was the colder temperature of the kiddie splash pool compared to other pools.

This is really a great space. I love that they offer teachers and vets discounts. The snack bar is decent. They let in outside food. Most of the guards are very nice. My main issue with this pool is not enough shade. They don’t allow you to bring in anything other than an umbrella that you cannot put into the ground. On hot days, this is terrible. Allow more shade items please!!
Very nice, clean pool, staff very friendly, common sense on another level, they let you jump and pay little bit more than any other public pool. As long as a parent or grown up is present. Cleanliness is also on another level, the pool, the surrounding, the bathroom, great job management.
Just another day out with the family. Coming to this place it looks like one of the churches Robert Langdon had to find at the end of the path of illumination. The place is pretty big though it has a volleyball court, a playground with swings, kiddie pool area with sprinklers. There was a diving area and no diving area even though kids were diving into the pool anyway. I do have to give kudos to the two girls manning the Cafe Grill though. The were taking orders, prepping and cooking and serving the food to tables ,with just two of them. The food honestly was nothing special though. The pizza wasn't saucy enough and dry. The drinks were decent but it needs a signature menu item for that type of crowd. I know my kids loved and as did my wife but me I thought it was ehhhh decent.
This is more like 3.5 stars because the pool is genuinely very pretty and clean. I am deducting because the kiddie splash pool was significantly colder than the other pools which seems counterintuitive - if anything, the youngest ones (in the smallest pool) should have the most comfortable water instead of the coldest. Then, a star and a half off due to this very ridiculous rule that kids under 4 are restricted only to the kiddie splash pool. Restriction for the large deep pool I kind of get, and not allowing a young one in alone, but the intermediate pool that caps at 4’? With two lifeguards on either side? With me being with my daughter in my arms? Why wouldn’t I be able to accompany my younger child into that pool? It’s certainly not a free pool, far from it at one of the highest rates for a pool in Bergen County…why keep this crazy rule in place? Let me sign a waiver and let me enjoy the intermediate pool with my family. Instead my daughter is in tears because she can’t play with big brother in the other pool. I’m just not seeing the logic and I’m positive you’re ostracizing potential customers who also feel this is unnecessarily restrictive.
Great place and environment! I’ve been there as a guest and spent a day with my kid and we were pleasantly impressed. Nice pool!
