Community swimming facility with multiple water slides, a playground and a grassy lounging area.
Specific, consistently published water temperatures for Ramsey Municipal Pool are generally not available. As an outdoor seasonal facility, the pool's temperature naturally varies with ambient weather conditions and is typically unheated, or heated minimally by solar effects, ensuring a refreshing experience during the summer.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The facility is generally praised for its cleanliness, clear water, and diverse amenities suitable for all ages, including heated pools, various slides, a dedicated shallow area with water features for young children, and deeper sections for older kids. Visitors appreciate the helpful lifeguards, ample shade, and large grassy areas for relaxation. The natural surroundings, featuring a stream and wildlife, also contribute to its appeal as a pleasant destination for activities like bike rides. However, there are criticisms regarding management and priorities, with some long-time residents feeling it caters too much to children and new visitors, while neglecting other community needs. Additionally, concerns have been raised about some unhelpful front desk staff and persistent issues with trash and cleanliness around the pool area, despite the entry cost.

Everything was clean and functional! The water was crystal clear. Options for all ages to play and swim safely. Lifeguards were super helpful and kind. We especially appreciated the 2 ft defined area of the pool with a gradual entry, water features, and mini slide for the little ones. Our big kids enjoyed being able to swim and play independently on the other side which ranges from 2-4 ft deep. They can't wait to try the big water slides next time! There was a good amount of shade both in and out of the pool. The playground next to the pool was a great feature as well. We truly enjoyed our visit and I'm not typically a beach/pool person!!
Nice pool which had cost a nice chunk of change to revamp. However; Ramsey caters to kids and forgets about the long time residents who are still paying high taxes for schools and facilities such as this one. I mean, the town won't even put up a dog park; why can't my taxes go towards that? People from other communities have more legal rights than we do and that includes utilizing Finch Park (which is often shut down for kids softball games and the like and happens to be off-limits for dogs...go figure).
This a really nice bike ride destination. I often look for places where I can lay down in the grass, eat, rest and soak up some sun. I’m here early. The pool isn’t open yet, but the area surrounding the pool has a running stream, a bridge and u get to see the deer eating the freshly sprouted skunk cabbage. It’s a nice chill spot to blaze a splif and just enjoy nature. #googlemaps #kingofcoffeenyc #kingofmarijuananyc #sankofatafari
Very impressive location. Heated pools, lots of slides, area for little kids, and a huge grassy area for chilling. Clean facilities too. Awesome.
It is a nice place to be ,some of the girls are very helpful at the front desk , some of them just stare at you like a deer …. Just like you asked them to solve a mathematical issue They don’t pick up the trash, around the pool ,I had observed the same piece of garbage sitting at the same spot for 2 weeks Please clean , it’s not cheap to get in , I am sure you can hire the cleaning company
