Great hidden gem. Just learned about this place this year and it has not been very busy - even when we had the heatwave pass through the area. Very clean and the lifeguards and diligently monitoring the children in the pool. Kids love the games set up here. It’s a very good family friendly place. Highly recommend.

My family and I have been going to the Ridgefield Pool for over 20 years. It has been a complete delight for all these years building summer memories that will last forever. The management and staff are excellent. The pool and premises are very clean and there are loads of fun events to be enjoyed by children and adults. I highly recommend the Ridgefield Community Pool!

Aug 2024: One of the nicest, cleanest, and friendliest pool in Bergen County. I highly recommended. It was a lot of fun and they have a picnic area where you can consume food and it’s right next to a wonderful playground. Update June 2025: I continue to be impressed with how clean, friendly and welcoming this pool is. I have renewed my pool membership and signed up for swim classes from my girls. Highly recommend!

I started coming to the Ridgefield Pool in 1969 when it first opened. I was a kid at the time, but I have continued joining the pool on my own each Summer since I graduated from Rutgers in 1978 with my masters in Urban Planning. The landscape and layout of the pool always fascinated me, which led me to pursue such studies. Year after year, I spend my time at the lap pool, often doing laps to stay in shape and recover from my recent back surgery. Many of the people up there find certain things disruptive, but I truly enjoy seeing the pool get as much use as it does. I have heard many complaints from people who I sit around at the top pool, but I completely disagree with each and every one of them. The staff are indeed amazing, always cautions and aware of what is happening around them. I enjoy all of the events that have been put on so far this season, and cannot wait to participate in more!

We absolutely love the Ridgefield Pool! The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. The activities are amazing — there’s always something fun going on for both kids and adults. Movie night and moonlight swim are definite highlights of the summer — so much fun and such a great way to bring the community together! The staff is outstanding — friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everyone is having a great experience. Whether it's swim lessons, recreational swim, or one of the many special events, you can really tell they care. Thank you Sharon and the team for always making sure we have a great summer.
