About

The Royal Ranch Pool Club is a private, members-only seasonal swimming club located at 261-10 Bridgewater Ave, Glen Oaks, NY. It serves as a community-focused, family-friendly outdoor facility offering swimming opportunities and recreation during the summer months.

Specific pool temperatures for the Royal Ranch Pool Club are not publicly available. As a seasonal outdoor facility, its pools are typically unheated and rely on ambient weather conditions for warmth, operating during the summer months when natural temperatures are suitable for swimming.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Royal Ranches Private Pool (RRPC) receives highly mixed, but predominantly negative, reviews. While one user praised the pool's cleanliness, the respectful atmosphere among guests and lifeguards, and its suitability for families, most reviewers describe a facility in severe disrepair. Recurring complaints focus on the 'horrendous' and dangerous bathrooms, which are consistently reported as moldy, dark, smelly, outdated, and unkept. The sports areas, including basketball courts, are criticized for being outdated, rusty, lopsided, and sometimes hazardous with poison ivy or insects. Several reviewers found the facility overpriced, noting a lack of basic amenities like a working snack bar and repetitive, annoying music. Furthermore, staff conduct is a significant concern, with reports of rudeness, unprofessionalism, and even yelling at children. Despite these issues, one review mentioned that some renovation construction is underway, and membership prices are lower for local residents.

I think this is a great local private pool! On a hot sunny day, this marks the spot. Could it use an upgrade? Sure. It’s not a country club, but it has the basic necessities. The pool itself is clean. I don’t use the basketball area, handball court, or play area but it’s there. Upgrades could be bathroom, changing room, sports areas. But again, the pools themselves are well maintained. There is plenty of parking and I can bring my food or order and it will get delivered! The other guests are also very nice and respectful as well as the lifeguards. That’s all I need and it works for me and my family. Thank you RRPC! 👍🏼

the entire facility needs to be renovated. the walls were moldy and filled with cracks, the bathrooms were horrendous (no lights, outdated, smelled rotten, and felt like you were in a dungeon. bathrooms were completely unkept, secluded and dangerous). The chairs were rusty, there was poison ivy all around the gate areas near the basketball hoop (a worker even told us to keep watch of this!) the basketball courts were outdated, had no netting, and the pavements were all lopsided. Easy for kids to fall and hurt themselves. DEFINITELY need more professional staff. If I was reading this I’d try the pool down the road.

Wouldn’t recommend! Most of these reviews are years old. Overpriced, and the only amenities it features is a disgusting pool with bugs in it, basketball court surrounded by bees and wasps, worn down park, and awful un cleaned bathrooms. Way to expensive and it doesn’t even include a snack bar. Just broken vending machines. The same music plays all the time to the point we’re it gets really annoying. The pool is opening up this summer but I wouldn’t recommend it if your looking for relaxation, and your kids to have fun.

These people are rude and one of them yelled at my 8 year old son and cursing him out because he jumped into the pool while someone wasn’t on the job. They were all talking and got distracted not doing their job and yelled for no reason. The place is all messed up and very dangerous. My son fell down the dangerous stair and the bathroom is dark and no light and smells like rotten eggs

Not a fancy pool club but very good for kids. Need some renovations but some kind of construction is going on right now before the start of next season. Membership price is much lower for residents of the Royal Ranches area compared to people coming from outside of the immediate neighborhood
