The Splash Pad at Juan Pablo Duarte Park, located at 33RD New York Ave, Union City, NJ 07087, USA, is an interactive water play area designed primarily for children. It typically features various nozzles, sprayers, and fountains that create a fun and refreshing environment without the depth of a traditional swimming pool. It's a popular spot for families to cool off during warmer months.
Specific temperature information for the water at a splash pad is generally not publicly available as these facilities typically use municipal water, which is not heated or monitored for specific pool temperatures. The water temperature would naturally fluctuate with ambient conditions and the municipal water supply.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This waterpark is generally highly recommended for families with young children (ages 5-12), offering free entry, a clean environment, and various features like splash pads, kiddie pools, and slides. Visitors praise the helpful lifeguards and soft ground. Weekday afternoons are suggested to avoid crowds. However, common criticisms include a small main pool that can get crowded, slow slides requiring kids to push themselves, and strict policies prohibiting adult swimwear (adults must be fully dressed) and outside food. Some visitors also noted rough play among children.

Highly recommend best fun ever went on a weekday 3-5:30 not too much of a crowd very kid-family friendly and full of fun! Amazing splash pads and kiddie pools and slides. Also cannot forget to mention very clean and tidy park! The ground was soft enough to run on with no fears of slip and fall accidents my kiddos were ages 5 & 12 they both had a blast! Would def recommend 5/5 stars! Summer hours differ from school hours during summer season call for updates or check online! Parents are allowed to foot dip in the water with their kiddos 12 and I def must be supervised kids over 12 not recommended. But overall a must visit!
Great waterpark they have small slides for younger kids and bigger slides for older kids the private pool was the best my little sister loved it it’s not too deep or too shallow and they have many cool water features and a splash pad too plus it’s free entry
Pool is small but super fun for kids. I went on a Friday afternoon in July, no line or capacity issue. The only qualms I have are 1) the strict policy that adults are not allowed to be in swim wear. Adults must be fully dressed at all times. 2) No food is allowed in the entire park (both wet and dry areas) and there’s a supervisor woman walking around and watching over your shoulder like thieves.
This place is really nice to bring your kids here to play and cool down in the water on a hot day. The only downside is that the pool isn't really big and it gets really crowded easily. The slides that are under the helicopter tower thing go really slow. It needs a bit more water. Kids have to push themselves down the slides with their hands.
The Lifeguards were very good & Helpful & the Water Slide was a Big Dream come true I was like "Weeeeeeeeeeeee" and the Pirate ship Pool was cool even though some kids were a little Rough and Very Playful I might be too old to come but I just wanna have a Great Summer (for the Lifeguards see you on Memorial Day 2023)
