What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for "Take Me To The Water" are overwhelmingly negative, primarily due to the facility's deplorable and unsanitary conditions. Complaints include cold pool water, dilapidated changing rooms with mold, rust, mildew, and missing fixtures, a complete lack of baby-specific amenities like changing tables, and unsafe elements such as dripping ceilings and inadequate spectator seating. While some instructors are praised for their patience and teaching skills, especially for special needs or more advanced students, others, particularly for beginner classes, are described as inexperienced or unfriendly. Many reviewers express deep dissatisfaction, citing wasted money and an intention to seek swimming lessons elsewhere due to hygiene, safety, and facility concerns.

It's a shame to offer this kind lesson I enrolled for a baby and me lesson. The pool was horrible, the water was cold, there was no changing room, there was no baby equipment, no changing table, no little bathtub, nothing to park the stroller in, nothing to store your personnal items. The building is old and so is all the equipment. The teachers are unfriendly and haven't good teaching skills. It was the worst experience I would not recommend at all this group "take me to the water"!!!!

The woman’s facility was horrible, the lockers are corroded (so no where to put your stuff) plastic chairs covered in mold, no changing table for babies, disgusting shower curtains with mildew, extension cords hanging from the ceiling. I’m shocked they haven’t been shut down, that’s no place for children. I gave them two stars because the instructor, Sean was great. Very hands on and explained everything. I’m hoping the location on 75th will be better.

The instructors I would give 4-5 stars, BUT.... the facility needs an upgrade and serious renovation. The brown ceiling drips water on you constantly. (Hope it's not a toilet/bathroom above us). The lockers are all rusted and gross, which you can see nobody uses. The rinse/shower stalls never has any hot water. The boys room has 2 sinks, and each sink has a completely missing faucet handle. The policy stated no outside shoes allowed but people walking around in them. People are eating when they're not supposed to. Parents/spectators, be warned, you are sitting 4-5 feet from pool side and I'm waiting for someone to fall in trying to walk through. For the half hour price and the amount of kids that are there, I'm surprised nothing is going into fixing the area. We will definitely look elsewhere.

Good instructor, my son has special needs and the instructor has been very patience with him even though he's still screaming and whining after 9 months of classes. But they only have men and women changing room, no family changing room, it's very inconvenience to change him in the women changing room, I always overheard some little girls asking their mommys why a boy is here, their moms usually answer he's a little boy. But he's 7 already! Even though they have tents next to the pool, it's still sort of inconvenience because I need to take him to shower to rinse out the chlorine.

I can't speak for all instructors but the ones my kids had were inexperienced and didn't teach anything. The classes that are more advanced had apparently better instructors, but the beginners are not well qualified in ny opinion. 3 classes were a waste of money and time.
