I recently came to the summer club as I’ve heard only great things of this place. Its located in Long Island city queens but honestly it’s more in the city. I took the F train the 21 Court St. then it was a 11 minute walk. I had a fun time I am truly glad I came. The drinks were great, the music was pumping and the vibes were all around amazing. The staff is super friendly as well which is what makes the experience a big 10 out of 10, would recommend. I got the early pass which was only $25 online. In person the chairs at the pool side were only $125 which isn’t bad online it was $189 and up for chairs at the pool side so that’s something to consider. If you are looking for a place to relax, vibe, even do some work you can bring a laptop 💻 and get a chair. 👩🏽💻
I experienced The Summer Club this past Sunday for the first time. A day pool party in New York that I’ve wanted to attend since discovering it and finally got to. I see a lot of mixed reviews within the reviews and understand that each person and/or group has their own individual experiences, but overall; mine was collectively a solid experience. Starting with the location itself being conveniently located a short distance away from where I reside, all of the hotel/Summer Club staff were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating from start to finish. The setup itself was solid; poolside in a cabana amongst a group of friends, allowing us to be social amongst other people within our sections, bottle services waitresses were all nice and friendly, bottles were delivered, etc. efficiently, I didn’t eat any of the food we ordered, but it looked appetizing and the portions were large, the entertainment itself DJ wise was solid both during the pool party and after the transition to being relocated by the DJ in the “Lawn” area, the crowd was very diversified and mixed amongst all different walks of life; of which I always prefer and definitely appreciate, the pool itself was very active, but not at all my experience because I don’t swim in public pools, but definitely entertaining to “People Watch” and overall there weren’t any issues with the final bill, etc. And so, I’d definitely go back for another outing amongst a group of friends in a similar fashion in the future. Next time I’d probably want to reserve a hotel room as well with a balcony for pure convenience and entertainment purposes because there were a lot of people who were there that were also staying at the hotel, but that’s just a personal preference. Definitely not required.
Jake, Luke, Melanie, and most of the staff were great and professional. Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant encounter with one member of the security team, who mishandled my personal belongings and showed what I perceived to be a lack of basic courtesy. As a business owner, I value professionalism and respect, and I hope the management takes steps to ensure no guest feels similarly disrespected in the future
The experience with the security At The front Was disappointing , My Older Sister From Grenada came To New York to Celebrate My Birthday With Me, I already was not going to come because of the timing and us not realizing how far away it was. We got all the way here and even after 2 different forms of id they did not let my sister in. Saying they cannot accept her Grenadian id. She did not bring her passport because she had not had a problem at any other establishment regarding her id. And the one she had on her phone was expired…Everyone else had ids and was good so im not understanding how and why we were turned away. It was so upsetting especially because we made the time to drive all the way out there, ON MY BIRTHDAY, to be treated like we were terrorist or something from a BLACK MAN. I need my money back for sure. This is ridiculous.
The drinks are very expensive and if you ask for extra ice they refuse. The place was pretty packed and the state and screen minimum size. I was having good time dancing as I always do and suddenly a strange comes and hugs me and my husband. After 2 minutes I started feeling extremely dizzy -was completely sober- and requested help from the venue. Everyone ignored me. Thanks god my husband was there with me. They promoted claptone was coming, but he did not play any of the most known tracks. Pretty suspicious
