Family-friendly public facility featuring swimming and diving, as well as tennis courts, a gym, and a skate park.
The main 50-meter competition pool is typically maintained at 79-81°F (26-27°C). The instructional/recreation pool is warmer, usually kept at 88-90°F (31-32°C). The warm water spa operates at an even higher temperature, generally between 100-104°F (38-40°C).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews reveal widespread dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from the pool's lane allocation and management. Public swimmers express frustration that a significant portion of the pool, including deeper lanes, is frequently reserved for an 'exclusive club' and often remains unused, while public access is limited to a few, often shallow, and overcrowded lanes despite taxes and fees paid. This is widely perceived as mismanagement of a public resource. Compounding this, multiple users report negative experiences with staff, citing inconsistent rule enforcement (especially regarding diving boards), poor communication, disorganization, and unprofessional or rude behavior, sometimes leading to unfair treatment or expulsion. On a positive note, aspects like quick check-ins, flexible swimwear policies, and bike racks are appreciated. However, there are also complaints about the lack of private showers, dressing stalls, or lockers in the changing rooms.

Going to contact a rep. This is insane how badly it's run. They have 'Open Lap Swim' at Tuesday and Thursdays. Where ONLY FOUR LANES are open! They have EIGHT LANES where only three are used. For 'CLUB ONLY'. Why in the world do you have a PUBLIC POOL that I pay taxes for and fees to swim at where you have unused lanes FOREVER not being used. It's super annoying. Here is a pic tonight this was 2 minutes before 7:15. Every lane had people in it. But of course we need 5 unused lanes for 'the club'. Whoever is in charge of this place needs to get with it and understand you are losing people that want to swim because you have this insane idea people like to see an unused pool. It's even more insane as just a few months back during winter 'the club' only had six lanes and the other six were for people. So they decided it was better to have 'the club' get to use more of it. I mean honestly this makes me pissed. I pay taxes and I pay to use this facility and this garbage happens. Maybe update your schedule to say: "Club keeps have the people always closed for itself so no one else may use it." My God. Need to re list this pool as the private 'club' pool that has 1/4 for sometimes public use. And the 4 lanes that are used? Well of course the first two are like 4 feet deep so you give the best lanes to 'the club' that is NEVER USING THEM! Then you have people that aren't even swimming but just bobbing up and down so really you have two lanes with actual swimming in a giant swimming pool. Great use of people's money, NOT!
I went here to jump off of the diving boards because they looked cool online. When I walked in, the people were nice and they check me in very quickly. When I walked out to the pool, I asked one of the on duty life guards if I was able to jump off of the big diving board, I. Which she replied “yes.” So I walked over and jumped off, then when I swim back to ladder, I hear a life guard yell “TAKE A SWIM TEST NOW!” like I did something wrong, so I take the test, and I pass. So then I ask the lifeguard again, “am I good to jump off?” And he replied, “yes, you can go.” So then I jump off, then when I get back to the ladder a guy walks out (the same one that previously told me to take the swim test) and tells me and other kids to go in proper order. I totally understand this because we have to be extra careful. So then there is a lifeguard nearby that is telling us when we are able to go, and now every one is following the rules. And just when I was signaled to go, some old lady stopped me and told me I couldn’t go, because no one was following the rules. So she locked up the diving board and told us that the deep end was closed because we weren’t following the rules. So me and my friends go to the shallow end (like we were told to) and we were having fun swimming around. We were playing with pool noodles, hitting each other, having a great time. Then out of nowhere, that one life guard came back (the same one that previously told me to take the swim test) and he told me that I was kicked out, because I STILL wasn’t followed the rules that I never was told. So I go back to the bathroom to rinse off, then he comes to the showers where I was and told me to leave. So I get out of the shower, and grab my stuff. Then I had to change into my clothes and dry off out side the building. I paid $7.75 and drove out 30 minutes just to get a solid 20 minutes of swimming. None the less, I hope That man is doing well and I hope that god blesses his heart.
I appreciate how they don't restrict what can be worn in the pool unlike other places. Front desk staff are quick to get you checked in. Nice and big, I find the width of the pool to be a good distance. Also has bike racks in the walkway under cover and right below security cameras. But in the locker rooms there are no private showers or dressing stalls apart from the toilets, or lockers (there are shelves available on the pool deck).
I used to love this place so much back in the day. Now, management is horrible. I'm a 6”2 guy who has been swimming most of my life, and it's very uncomfortable for to swim at 4ft. It's for the club only. What club? Half of the pool is empty after 8. LET PUBLIC PEOPLE SWIM AT DEEPER LINES. It was a horrible experience, and it has been going on and on for months now
We have been paying taxes for years for this place to keep it running. Plus our membership. This place is so disorganized and the staff is unwelcoming. Few of the lifeguard is so rude and so unprofessional. Agreed to some of the comments here already - 2 line for lap swim for 3,4 people. That’s need to change - that is so bad.
