Stopped by the club while I was in town visiting family and just wanted to share how impressed I was! Compared to other locations I’ve visited, this club is noticeably cleaner and well-kept. I was especially impressed with Cass, who was so welcoming and seemed to always be on the move taking care of the locker rooms. The amenities are great, and I really love how spacious the fitness floor feels. Amazing job to the whole team for keeping the club in top shape!
The amenities are excellent and I’m happy with my membership. The staff are all nice enough but it never feels like there is anyone in particular in charge. Nobody walking around to see how things are going and check in with people. I don’t get responses to the occasional email I send and using the massage chairs is a little odd. You have to call downstairs and ask them to turn it on despite having reserved one. I say all this to say it’s a little transactional but it’s still the best option around in my opinion for the wealth of amenities -including a great outdoor pool where I’ve never had to worry about finding a chair and a very comfortable one at that.
I’ve been a member at this gym, and unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. First and most seriously, my belongings were stolen from the parking lot, and I received little to no support from management in addressing the situation. Security and member safety clearly aren’t a priority here. Additionally, the sauna has been out of order for weeks (if not months) with no real communication or timeline for repair. One of the main reasons I joined this gym was for the full amenities — it’s frustrating to pay for services that aren’t delivered
Overall a really solid gym. Really spacious and has all the equipment you need. Love that there’s also a hot tub here which the Cary location lacks. However the pickleball programming has a lot of issues that need fixing. I’m not a fan of how close the walls are to the baseline of the courts. It’s makes it pretty difficult to return against a strong server, but I don’t think anything can be done to fix that now. They seriously need to add more DUPR mandatory sessions here. The entire schedule is just casual open plays and there’s no organized opportunities to play competitive DUPR games. I came to a couple of DUPR ratings clinics a few months ago and none of the games ever got logged which was really frustrating, and I never got an explanation why. I’m one of many people who feel the same way, so I really hope they fix that soon. It would also be nice to see more singles sessions on the lifetime app instead of just doubles. They also need to do a better job of responding to members’ feedback. I’ve emailed lifetime numerous times to inquire about DUPR sessions and I’ve never gotten a response. If you’re not purchasing a personal training session or paying for a league or adding to their revenue, lifetime doesn’t care about you
first off, i want to highlight my experience with Toni, one of the personal trainers. i came in and he was doing a 1 minute plank = 5 minutes of stretching session. max 3 minutes. he displayed professionalism throughout my session with him. i can tell he is passionate about his job. i’ve been a member at life time in the past in another state and had a great experience. this location is just as good, if not better. staff are friendly and helpful and the gym has a lot of amenities. the weight room can get packed during peak hours but they are closed until midnight which is nice for anyone who chooses to workout late. they have towels, shampoo, mouth wash, hair spray, hair dryers, shaving cream and razors, and deodorant in the locker rooms. the price is definitely worth it if you use the amenities.
