This pool and clubhouse is exactly what a community spot should be. Perfect for letting the kids play for hours while you catch up with neighbors, meet new ones, and enjoy an adult beverage. It's laid-back, friendly, and really captures what it means to live in Woodcreek.
Amazing pool and community gathering area! PROS: - If you are a meme we if the Wood Creek community: There is an amazing communal society. There are seasonal events for members, gym and pool access, courts (basketball and tennis), and young children recreational facilities (pool & gymnasium across) - Security: as of 2019, fenced-in facilities to prevent access of random Holly Springs residents - Community-Participation: on-going community give-away information (through Facebook and other social-media outlets), Community-participation events (Facebook and other networks), family-centered integration communication, etc. - Community-organized events (concerts for community bands, potlucks, etc) - Standard of Living: as prices of homes go up, this area provides a base-line area of well-affordable houses near to the tri-city area CONS: - Location: The area is still trying to adapt to many families and residents attempting to make a sense of “community”, which is mostly dealt with by neighborhood employees and traffic response, but will take time to adapt to with growth of the development
When trying to simply walk in the lazy river, I was rudely told off by a lifeguard and I was required to wear a floatation tube. The lazy river is 3 1/2 feet deep and I’m 5 foot 10. When I asked why I required a floatation device in a pool that didn’t require one a year ago. On top of that, half of the lifeguards are so out of shape that they can barely get into the lifeguard chairs, let alone swim or save a guest from drowning. I’m not saying this to ridicule, I’m just genuinely concerned for the safety of the guests at this pool. I love this pool, the layout is great and the amenities really make it an amazing place to hold a gathering, but these new rules completely ruined it for me.
This pool is great. Fantastic lazy river with an awesome slide. The zero entry with the mushrooms is great for little ones. Tables do go fast during the peak of the summer, but hopefully more will be added before the 2019 season!
Zero entry area with water mushrooms is great for the little ones. Quality lap swimming area (25 yard length). Incredible lazy river with slide. Loungers are getting a little dated. Some need to be replaced.
