Go here every year with my family either my parents or my uncle and cousins and its always great really nice lifeguards very clean and always very fun but the construction in april of 2025 shouldn’t be taking this long one of my family members used to have a in ground pool about the same size as this pool and they had it re surfaced and it took 2 weeks but it was about 3 weeks before we could swim in it because they had to re do the chemicals and all that stuff but still it has been way longer than 3 weeks for this work on converse pool

Not the best, but it’s a place to swim. One of the diving boards is always roped off, the seating is minimal, and you can’t bring outside food/drinks bc of their concessions. Which aren’t great. Now, I am allowed to bring in my water bottle, but can’t bring a cup in that has someone’s business on it. So… when you come, just dump your Dr. Pepper or your tea into your personal water bottle and go. The rules are kind of annoying to be honest, bc I don’t want junk to eat while I’m at the pool. But it is what it is. The water is clean, and the lifeguards on duty seem to be doing their job. People up front are ok as well. Overall it could be better, but I’ve been to worse. It’s a so-so place as far as I’m concerned. But to each their own.

New to town and just went for the first time this week. It's a decent pool for the kids! It wasn't too big or too crowded. I didn't know showing up that it is a $2 entry fee per person, which isn't a problem except it's cash only. No outside food or drinks (barring your water bottle) because they have a snack bar, but the snack bar, also, only takes cash. As someone who never carries cash, this was an inconvenience. I was able to scrounge together the $6 in change for me and my nieces to get in, but they were starving by the end of their swim and we couldn't buy food. Even the ice cream truck at the splash pad takes cards, so it never occurred to me that a city pool wouldn't as well. Oh well, now I know!

It was 96 degrees. Everyone was cooling off I drank 3 bottles of waters in 1hr 😰 ($2 per person to go in the pool)
