Colburn Park & The Old Cannery Splash Pad is a community park located in Fife, WA, known for its unique 'Old Cannery' themed splash pad. The park offers a playground, open green spaces, picnic areas, and restrooms, making it a popular destination for families, especially during the warmer months when the splash pad is operational.
As a splash pad, the water at The Old Cannery Splash Pad is typically unheated and circulates ambient temperature municipal water. Specific temperature information for the splash pad water is generally not provided, as it is not a heated pool.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This park is highly rated for its fun and interactive splash pad, enjoyed by children of various ages. It offers good amenities including clean bathrooms, ample picnic tables (some with umbrellas), benches, and shaded areas. Parking is conveniently close, and the park is generally not overly crowded. While some reviewers noted the snack bar is expensive and the Fife area can feel 'sketchy' (though proximity to the fire department offers reassurance), a major point of concern is the recent removal of most playground equipment, leaving dangerous jagged pipes without any official explanation or signage.

Parking is close, and bathrooms are inside a fenced area. Grandsons 5 & 9 had fun and there was shade close enough for me to sit and watch them have fun.
Very nice- not super busy. Picnic tables, clean bathrooms, a few areas with shade. Variety of spraying toys. Must press button to turn water on once it turns off. Fife feels sketchy but being right next to the fire department makes it feel safer.
Pretty great! A fun interactive solash pad! Has picnic gables with umbrellas, nice shaddy area for sitting down on grass. They also have a snack bar(ridiculously expensive) but still great. Restrooms a re very clean
This has been one of my son and I's favorite parks. But, what happened to the playground equipment? It's all gone, but the swings! Just a couple of jagged pipes left sticking out of the ground. No signs to explain. No web info I can find. Just a couple of dangerous looking pipes sticking out of the ground.
This is a special park. My kids love it. I am impressed that there are lots of benches and picnic tables, so my family and I had a picnic dinner here after visiting Wild Waves.
