Indoor pool (warm water), sometimes used for classes, also with a swing.
The main lap pool at the Covington Aquatic Center is generally maintained at approximately 82-84°F (28-29°C). A warmer leisure or recreation pool is typically kept at a more comfortable 88-90°F (31-32°C). For relaxation, a hot tub or spa is usually available, with temperatures around 102-104°F (39-40°C).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this facility are mixed, primarily positive for swimming lessons and general pool use, but strongly negative regarding birthday party experiences. Many praise the swimming instructors as great, fair, and accommodating, particularly for children learning to swim, including those with special needs (with David Kim specifically recommended). The pool is described as an 'amazing' and 'awesome' place with an indoor heated pool, offering cool programs like water aerobics, and generally friendly staff/lifeguards. However, multiple birthday party attendees reported significant issues including understaffing of lifeguards leading to closed amenities (e.g., diving board), rude management, and problems with party room cleanliness and access, leading to a perception that parties are 'not worth what they are charging'.

Here for a birthday party right now. 5 lifeguards sitting in the office, talking and laughing and having a great time, while getting paid. 1 lifeguard out watching both shallow and deep end of the pool, with 12 kids total. Because there is only 1 out here, they are not opening the diving board, which was part of the party package. I assume her is the shift manager, wearing a hoodie that says "white lightening" on the back, who was very rude to the paying host parent about not being able to use the party room until 4pm because they need to clean it. 3:30 now and no one has stepped foot in there to clean. Second birthday party we have attended here that just isn't worth what they are charging.
This pool is an amazing place to enjoy your afternoon. They have really nice staff. They offer really cool programs such as Water aerobics. I would really recommend David Kim as an instructor especially for higher level lessons.
Excellent place to teach kids how to swim. Instructors are fair and make sure kids are well prepared before moving them up levels. Indoor heated pool for learning to swim not a water park.
Very awesome place! Loved our April pools day. Lifeguards are all nice and helpful!!!
Our kids have been going here to take lessons for years. All the instructors are great and have helped both of our children learn to swim. Our son is special needs and they have been amazing at accommodating to help him thrive.
