What are people saying (AI review summary)? Cyan Swimming Club generally receives positive reviews, with many customers praising the effectiveness of the instruction, which helps children overcome fear of water and make significant progress. Reviewers frequently commend the patient, engaging, and professional instructors, noting the flexibility to choose teachers that suit individual learning styles. The club is also appreciated for its clean environment, warm water, flexible scheduling, good availability, and consistent use of substitute teachers to avoid cancellations. However, one particularly negative review highlights concerns about unprofessional, inexperienced, and emotionally involved staff members, specifically mentioning issues with customer service at the front desk, unclear rules, overlooked requests, and a lack of knowledge regarding facility operations (e.g., ventilation). A minor point of criticism mentioned is the limited number of family bathrooms.

Cyan has been great! Our son has gone from totally scared of water to always wanting to go swimming. Some of the teachers are so-so but it's easy to switch to another teacher who fits better with your kid's learning style. The high school kids are better for more advanced swimmers. I'd def go for one of the adult teachers if you have a beginner. My only gripe about the swim center is that there's only 1 family bathroom. On the off chance that my husband can't take our son to swim class, I have to get him out of the pool ASAP and fast walk (no running by the pool!) to the family bathroom so he isn't shivering in the hallway for 15min. If your kid is 6+, definitely try to schedule so that a same gender guardian can take them to shower after the lesson!
I had a very negative experience at Cyan Swimming Club. The instructor, Levi, who also worked at the front desk, was unprofessional and lacked experience. He was emotionally involved and unclear about the rules and procedures. I decided not to bring my kids to a place run by unprofessional staff. I gave one extra star because Audry and Welison were more responsible, but still unprofessional. It was frustrating to have the instructor come out of the water and sit at the desk, answering questions without fully understanding the conversation or reading emails. I had to explain my requests to Levi multiple times, but they were repeatedly overlooked. It's crucial to have the right people responsible for both instructors and customer service. The staff seemed unaware of basic office manners, and there was a lack of guidance on how the facility works. They also couldn’t answer questions about the ventilation system, which is important for ensuring clear air without the buildup of chlorine gas from water, especially in a space with low ceilings.
My daughter has been swimming with Cyan on and off for a long time. I liked the clean environment and friendly instructors. The owner has put a lot of effort to make this a enjoyable place to learn swimming and enjoy the water! The water is very warm. The schedule is flexible. They have many good instructors. You can get a chance to select the instructors that works best for your kids. A very good place to learn swimming!
This place is awesome in so many ways. We were new to the area and saw that this swim school was around the corner. You walk in and the person at the front desk is welcoming with a smile and gives you all the info you need. My kids (6 and 4) have been taking lessons here for a month now and I am so happy with their progress. The teachers are patient and wonderful with kids. The lessons run on time and everyone is professional. I have had to reschedule a couple lessons and they have been very accommodating. Some reviews mention that they were frustrated with rescheduling, but I completely disagree. I have had zero problem's. And yes.... If you miss your lesson or you need to cancel last minute then you lose your money. That is how a business works.... I look forward to their swim camp this summer and adding my 2 year old in sometime in the future!
Biggest thing I love is their wonderful staffing/availability. Not only were we able to get in without waiting 6 months, but they’re dependable. Even when my kid’s instructors were out sick, they still had a lesson with a substitute, instead of canceling the lesson. We’ve come every week for a few months now, and always have the same instructors. I’ve tried a few other schools that would constantly give different instructors (so no relationship and trust us built) or flat out canceled the lesson. Cyan has been consistent, which I really appreciate. The instructors are patient and engaging with the kids, and try to make the lessons a fun experience.
