What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews highlight several significant issues including inconsistent and rude staff behavior (front desk, kid zone, pool attendants), leading to poor customer service and confusion regarding rules (e.g., kid zone socks, pool access). Specific complaints include children being forced into a cold adult pool while a warm baby pool was closed due to 'bacteria' (with conflicting staff information), insufficient lap lanes due to classes, and observed poor hygiene practices (no showering, shoes in pool). Furthermore, a serious safety concern was raised about teenagers bullying and throwing bottles at a parent and child in the locker room, leading to calls for stricter enforcement and banning dangerous individuals.

today I went to the swim lesson with my child (2years old), they have 2 pool: 1 cold for adults and 1 warm for baby. we were in cold pool today, my child cannot swim in this cold water, child was so cold, I looked to the other children the same-their teeth were chattering, we asked instructor about baby pool - will open later just wait said, okay wait 20 min, asked the life guards the pool was closed they did not explain why we cannot go there, we went to the front desk they said it is a bacteria there...if it was a bacteria you have to close whole pool...disorganization between workers. we were last time and we loved it but this time negligent treatment of children even not to adult for child!
The healthy living swim classes here take over half of the pool, they only leave 2 lanes open for lap swimmers. There have been 10 people lap swimming and they still close down 4 lanes for the swim classes. Essentially, you can't lap swim here M-F 7:30am-10am. I've also seen the grandmas and grandpas in the swim class enter the pool without showering and with shoes on. If you're looking to lap swim, I'd skip this pool. They don't enforce any sort of pool hygiene for the healthy living classes, the pool is very dirty, and they close down 4 lanes of the pool from 7:30am-10am. Gross 🤢
Two front desk ladies are rude and not helpful. I wanted help to purchase a membership at the front desk and schedule some lessons as well. They told me I can’t do that at the front desk. But earlier they told me I could. But because they were busy gossiping and having their own conversations they just didn’t want to be interrupted and have to do work. I think they just didn’t want to be bothered with helping someone. They are just there to sit and gossip that’s all. I won’t be coming back to YMCA and paying money if I am going to be treated rudely.
1 star for now. We saw the other day the kids in kid zone without socks today the lady that was working there said they needed with socks as they changed the rules. WE'LL take a close check again to see what will happen next also will take her name next maybe we'll get her fired. She scan my card few times and said it wasn't working I put my phone number also said it wasn't working than she sent me to front desk to check and it and it was working, but but the lady in kids zone needed with socks we just left totally disappointed 😞.WHY she didn't said the rules before ,why she needed to scan my card forever???Than to say no the kid needed socks?I told her mam we're coming from pool she still rudely said the kid needs socks. SHe asked me to give my socks to the kid🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🙄🙄How is this allowed??I also had none as we came from pool area.
I often see more than a dozen teenagers bullying in the locker room. My five-year-old son and I walked into the locker room. They thought they were affected, so they threw drink bottles at me and my five-year-old child. Even though they were warned that there were children, they still threw bottles at us twice in a row. Should such dangerous people who hurt others be banned from entering? I have informed the staff that if they cannot find these people from the surveillance, I will further ask the
