What are people saying (AI review summary)? This swim school is highly recommended and widely praised as an excellent place for children to learn swimming, including those with sensory sensitivities or fear of water. Key strengths include very low student-to-teacher ratios (typically 1:2 or 1:4), ensuring personalized attention from knowledgeable, friendly, supportive, and effective instructors. The facility boasts an indoor, non-chlorinated, heated salt-water pool with consistently warm water, a dedicated changing area, and convenient parking. Its quiet and uncrowded environment is particularly beneficial for some children. However, due to its popularity, there is often a long waiting list for enrollment, and securing practice sessions more than once a week can be challenging. A recent complaint notes a change in the scheduling app, which now only displays one week at a time, making it difficult for drop-in students or those needing to reschedule, potentially resulting in lost class fees.

This is THE best place for any children to learn swimming. Prepare for a long waiting list if you want to enroll. They have 2 coaches for 4 children in each class. Coaches are friendly and knowledgeable. There is a dedicated area for changing. This is an indoor, non-chlorinated, salt water, heated pool. The temperature is definitely warm, perfect for summer and winter. A parking lot for students definitely makes it easy to come for class. Highly highly recommended!
Unhappy with change to scheduling on app. We can only afford to do drop in classes when we have a little extra money. The change to only 1 week shown makes it impossible if we need to reschedule a class. I just lost $60 because I couldn’t reschedule to the only day we are able to go.
We had a hard time teaching our kid to swim until we found Suzie's. Our child's now enjoying swimming. It's been a big leap for her. I can't thank this place enough. The water is truly warm (unlike places that claim to have heated pools but frequently don't), the place is quiet and not overcrowded. All of these features were perfect for our kid who couldn't deal with the sensory overload of big pools. There's one teacher for every 2 students and kids swim for 30 min with breaks which is the perfect time for learners. Teachers are fantastic and supportive!! So is the staff that helps with scheduling. They've helped our child overcome her fear of water. We love this place. The only downside is that since this place is small, initial waitlist to get in is long and getting practice in twice a week is hard. Despite the minor flaw, this is the best swim school in my opinion.
All 3 of my kiddos learned to swim here. I started in 2015 and still here. 2 students to a teacher is ideal, they get to swim essentially the whole time. The teachers are a perfect balance of assertiveness and fun. I have also seen them deal with lots of grace and compassion with the super scared preschoolers. I’ve seen littles cry/sob while they swim but still show trust to the instructors. Love that it’s heated.
Simply the best swim school. The teachers are magic!
