What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this venue are mixed, highlighting both positive aspects and significant drawbacks. On the positive side, it can serve as a well-decorated and spacious venue for events like weddings, offering good food and catering. However, recurring issues include poor ventilation and excessive heat inside the hall during events, even when the outdoor temperature is moderate. A major point of contention is the difficulty with deposit returns; customers report meticulous cleaning efforts being disregarded, leading to partial or no deposit refunds due, according to management, to cleanliness issues or failure to set alarms, despite customer proof otherwise. Communication from management regarding these issues is described as unprofessional and poor. Additionally, accessing rental information can be challenging for those not residing in the immediate area. The broader facilities show signs of neglect, with the pool decommissioned, parking lots restricted, and the basketball court in disrepair, though the clubhouse itself still appears available for small to medium-sized events.

Went to a wedding here that was FIVE Star- great food well catered very nice decorations and music. The four stars is because although there is plenty of parking and the hall is roomy...my suggestion would be to wear light clothing to any event where a lot of people are expected. Wedding was in late April....it was not very warm outside but overly hot in the venue. At the very least...need fans..someone propped open a door in the back.
I had my wedding here , it was in my families neighborhood. We had an amazing time, however, we were supposed to get our $300 deposit back. We followed all the rules, we spent two hours cleaning the whole place after my wedding was over. All my family helped, we cleaned every ounce of that place. Mind you it was already pretty dirty, the manager said they were going to be redoing the floors and that we wouldn’t get charged for it being dirty. We made sure to turn on the alarm , put the trash where it needed to be and put everything away. I asked them about my deposit and they told me I was only getting $50 back because the place was dirty , and the alarm wasn’t set. I showed them pictures and videos of proof of everything we did and they still won’t give me my full deposit back. They are very unprofessional and very bad at communicating. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! They will never get my money again!
I went to preschool here back in 1995 when I was 4 years old. I still remember very vividly of the activities we did and who my teacher was. Her name was Miss Sandy.
So I guess you have to live around there to even get information about renting this place. I tried calling just to see how much renting would be but they wanted my address we live in Covington but I guess you have to live around the area.
The pool has been decommissioned indefinitely, both of the parking lots are chained off to prevent the public from using them, and the basketball court looks like it could use a bit of TLC (like much of the facilities here). It appears that you can still rent out the clubhouse for small to medium sized events.
