What are people saying (AI review summary)? The park features a new and safe playground with two distinct areas, including a tall monkey castle for 5-12 year olds. However, it offers limited facilities for little tots (noted for dirty swings), insufficient shade, and poorly maintained grass. Older toddlers might enjoy the dusty and slippery pseudo trails. The wading pool is highly regarded as a neighborhood classic and the best/only one in Wallingford, suitable for babies and little kids with a sloped entry and a maximum depth of two feet, often featuring water toys and music. It is maintained by a long-term staff member. Visitors are advised to bring sun protection due to limited shade, go early as water quality can decline throughout the day, and note that the pool only opens when the temperature is above 75F.

Nice new and safe playground for 5-12 y.o. kids. Has two separate playgrounds for different ages. Very tall monkey castle with plenty of fancy tools
There isn't much of an area for little tots to play aside from the dirtiest swings I've ever seen! Nor is there much shade...and the grass looks pretty had. But my nephews who are older toddlers enjoyed running around the perimeter of the park in the pseudo trails. Pretty dusty and slippery up there though.
The wading pool is great for little kids and babies. It has a sloped side, so crawlers can explore, and goes to maybe two feet deep. Not much shade though, bring your sun umbrella. Often has water toys and music too!
Small but a neighborhood classic. The maintenance gentlemen has been there for years. He can be a bit straight forward for kids but he keeps the place clean, no splashing, and plays sweet tunes.
Best wading pool in Wallingford. But also only wading pool in Wallingford. Go early if possible. The water does tend to get crappy as time passes by. Also to note — go only if the temperature is above 75F. Else they will not be open. Infant friendly as well. But make sure you take sunscreen and maybe some sunshade as there is not much shade around the pool during the summer.
