My kids are enjoying their private lessons and really learning new skills very quickly.
I have swam here for 5 years on the team and it was great!
My daughter has only had a couple of swimming lessons with Hannah, but the difference has been incredible. She leaves every lesson smiling and talking positively the whole way home. My daughter is 10 and has struggled with swimming for years. We’ve tried other programs where instructors either didn’t give her much attention or made her feel judged. With Hannah, it’s the complete opposite. She is patient, encouraging, and makes my daughter feel truly supported. On the ride home, my daughter has said things like, “I absolutely love my teacher” and “When I make mistakes, she doesn’t make me feel bad.” Hearing that from her means so much to me as a parent. I’m so grateful we found East Coast Aquatic Center. Hannah has already made such an impact, and I highly recommend this place to any parent looking for a supportive and positive swimming program.
Coach Art should not work with young children (5). We went today for our first visit and my son was hesitant to get in and greeted with SCREAMING YOUR WASTING TIME AND MONEY... if your gonna cry it wont bother me... then when I told my son do want to get in the water or go home... he tossed the board and Coach Art SCREAMED DO NOT THROW MY PROPERTY DO NOT BE DISRESPECTFUL TO ME causing my son to cower in the corner while I silently cleaned up our things... You all should be ashamed of this behavior, what an awful thing to do to a child on their first EVER swim lesson!
I want to give a huge shout out to the East Coast Aquatic Center. I have been thoroughly impressed with the instructor, Tudor. He is an amazing instructor who managed to teach my son how to swim in just a few lessons. His patience with me as an adult learner with a fear of open water has been exceptional. While I still have more lessons ahead, I now feel comfortable and confident in my swimming abilities, all thanks to Tudor pushing me to reach my potential. It's not easy to teach an adult how to swim, but Tudor makes it look effortless. The whole team at East Coast Aquatic Center has truly impressed me, and Tiffany, in particular, has been incredibly helpful and supportive.
