What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews highlight several positive aspects of the facility, including generally clean conditions, a friendly and kind staff, and a well-maintained pool. Specific praise was given to Kallie, a lifeguard who addressed children in the hot tub, as well as to Jada, Katelyn, and the aquatics team for effective and patient swim lessons. Renee, a Zumba instructor, also received high commendation for her energy and inspiring classes. However, several drawbacks were noted: persistent issues with children in the hot tub (though occasionally addressed), staff sometimes ignoring horseplaying teens in the small weight room, poorly maintained racquetball courts with roof leaks, unreliable water fountains, inconsistent hot water in showers, and tight parking. Many reviewers observed a very high number of children, making it less ideal for adults seeking a dedicated gym. The pricing for a single adult membership was considered steep, and there is no individual membership option for older children (10-12), requiring an expensive family membership instead.

I’ve been here on off since the day it open. And the one pet peeve I’ve always had was the children in the hot tub and nothing said to them about it. . I wirnessed something different today. KALLIE said something to them. First time I’ve ever seen one of the lifeguards not ignoring it. Kudos to Cali. I do not know her, nor do I know the others, but I have been frequenting here for awhile and I am happy to see something done about it. It’s a safety issue! Overall, the location is clean, friendly and feels like home most of the time. Lol. Love it here.
Our son just finished the pre-school swim lessons. The instructors were extremely kind, patient, and effective. Our son went from a terrible first swim lesson experience elsewhere to asking when he would be able to do more lessons at the Y. His comfort and confidence in the water grew so much thanks to the lessons. We are so grateful to Jada, Katelyn, and the rest of the aquatics team here for making it such a positive experience for him.
I heard yesterday that it has been 14 years that Renee has taught Zumba. She is an awesome instructor! Her energy and positive vibe is truly inspiring! Our class has so much fun! This class sets a positive tone for the day!
The Good – The staff has always been very friendly. They greet you kindly add you enter and always answer questions in the same manner. The facility is clean and there are allot of activities & classes to choose from. The pool is well maintained. The Bad – Water fountains never work properly. Very little water pressure, so bring your own. Parking is tight/crowded in the adjacent lot. I once had a woman knock on my window to ask if I was leaving. I was setting up my GPS for a long drive so I wasn’t and she was notably unhappy that I wasn’t ready to leave my spot. Since then I park across the street. The Ugly - The weight room is small and tight. The teens and pre-teens that use the weight room routinely spend allot of time horseplaying and the staff does nothing to curb it. I’ve witnessed them ignoring it a few times. I’ve left feedback to let them know to no avail. Someone will eventually accidentally get hurt. The racquetball courts are poorly maintained and when it rains there are roof leaks dripping from the ceiling. Showers don’t always have hot water at night. Good luck with that. There are tons of kids. This is neither good nor bad. It’s just an observation. If you want a good adult gym there are much better gym options with better workout facilities and similar classes. The price that I pay for a single is roughly $55 with a corporate discount. That’s pretty steep comparable to other gyms. If you want a place to bring your kids then perhaps this is fine. I do not, so I really can’t rate the quality of a family membership. Seriously , there are tons of kids. Haha
Clean, nice people work there, however, if you're a single parent with child 12, and you're not a member anylonger, the ymca membership for child is not there. There is really no membership for a child, ie 10-12. You must get a family membership $$$
