What are people saying (AI review summary)? British Swim School generally receives positive feedback, particularly for its impact on young children. Many instructors, including Amin, Jack, Ryan, and Dezi, are highly praised for their patience, compassion, and reassuring approach, helping children overcome fear and build water confidence. Parents note significant improvement in their children's skills and enthusiasm for lessons, along with an appreciated emphasis on water safety. The school is recommended for young learners and those needing to build basic skills. However, one review expressed dissatisfaction, citing issues with small lanes shared with adults and a perceived lower quality compared to other swim schools, suggesting it might only be suitable for very young beginners (3-5 years old) and not for adults or those seeking more advanced instruction.

I can’t thank Amin enough for making this class work with my complicated schedule. He really went above and beyond. I had practices with both coach Jack and coach Ryan, and they’re both very helpful, patient, and reassuring. It’s hard to find swim classes as an adult and the few sessions I had with them were a great help.
Great swim school! Highly recommend for anyone who wants to learn the basics and build from there. The instructors are great for young people and tailoring feedback to focus on positivity and build on strengths. Both my girls (8 & 4 YOs) have improved over time and this is one of their favorite activities that they look forward to each week. 5/5 stars!
I am so incredibly happy that my girls are at British Swim School. Both of them were fearful of swimming as they both had a pretty bad swim lesson experience somewhere else. Mr. Dezi has been so compassionate and patient with the both of them (but also gently challenges them), and I have seen their water confidence increase in only a few lessons. The other instructor is also super nice and even came over to encourage my oldest when she was having a hard time.
My child absolutely loves her swim class at British Swim School. She was really scared of the water when she started, but all of the instructors were so patient and helped her get comfortable in the water. I also love the emphasis on making sure kids are safe in the water.
I accidentally left one star without a comment. The size of the practice lane was only a small part of the problem, and the swimming teacher even said we should go at another time, because adults were swimming in the same lane. We signed up for British Swim School and another swimming lessons at the same time, and BSS was WAY below the quality that we expect to received. I would only recommend British Swim School to very young children (3-5) that have not prior swimming experience.
