Swimming pool featuring lessons and diving boards, plus a commissary.
Specific water temperatures for the Worthington Pools are not officially published by the facility. As an outdoor aquatic center, the pool temperatures are largely influenced by ambient weather conditions. While many public pools aim for temperatures between 78-82°F, user feedback occasionally describes the water as 'chilly but refreshing,' suggesting they may not be extensively heated or maintain a precise warm temperature.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Worthington Pools is widely praised as a clean, well-maintained, and spacious facility offering a diverse range of programs, including swimming lessons, diving classes, open swim, and water safety training, catering to all ages and skill levels. Reviewers highlight the professional, friendly, and helpful staff, along with well-supervised pools and kid-centric instructors. The facility features a large indoor pool and two seasonal outdoor pools with slides and diving boards, making it a popular choice for families and athletes in the Columbus area. However, some feedback indicates a need for updated and clearly posted rules, especially concerning the use of diving boards and slides by children wearing life jackets, as current signage has led to confusion and disappointment. One isolated incident also noted firefighters spraying teenagers as inappropriate.

The facility is clean and well-maintained and offers something for everyone. Whether you’re here for swimming lessons, diving classes, or just enjoying an open swim with family and friends. The staff is professional, friendly, and always willing to help, which makes every visit enjoyable. I especially appreciate the variety of programs, from lifeguard training and CPR classes to recreational swimming and competitive diving. The pool itself is spacious, safe, and perfect for both casual swimming and structured activities. Worthington Pools is the best choice if you want to stay active, learn water safety, or have fun. I highly recommend it to families, athletes, and anyone in the Columbus area looking for a quality community pool experience!
Although fun 4 family... some things I feel need better attention. Fire fighters coming 2 spray a bunch of 14 year old girls is not appropriate by any means.
Worthington Pools have swimming for everyone! The pools are well maintained, clean and well-supervised. My grandsons took swimming lessons here and the instructors were friendly and taught in an interesting and kid-centric way.
Signs posted for who can use diving boards and slide is not updated , it says if your child is 42 inches tall and/or swim 15 feet then they can use that equipment , my son was kicked off (5 yo) the slide and cried them after going on the diving board roughly 6-8 times the new guard came over and kicked him off too. I asked to see the rule where it says “if they wear a life jacket they can’t join” they said “it might be posted up front” clearly the guards are taught to not let life guard wearing children on the slide and diving board . My problem is not having updated signs otherwise I would not have set my son up for disappointment.
This is one of the famous pool in Worthington. This one is on Dublin Granville road and in between 270 and 23. I have been here for my daughters class, as they have teaching lessons for all ages. The class schedule is on their site. The staff are friendly and help you to navigate in this location. They have one big indoor pool and two outside pools. Outside pools are open for public in summers. If you are member it’s free but non member they have daily fees. The outside pools are fun as they have slides and all. If you love swimming and around this place then you should visit!!
