First time me and my daughter been and we love it....nice clean pool and the staff was nice
The place is HUGE and secure. NYPD patrols the park regularly. The pool which is located in Thomas Jefferson Park is a great resource for the community. The pool is enjoyed by people of all ages including seniors. The local senior centers arrange trips for their members. I have sensitive skin so the chlorine and excessive sun are not good for me.
The water was super cold when I went but it was nice. Clean and not too crowded (I was there in the afternoon on a Saturday) 😂I’d post a pic but no phones inside the pool area! Please note that around 3 or 4 they have to clean the bathroom area so time your visit well so you have time to shower or change
For 1, it's not that big of a pool and 2. The day we went, it was super super crowded. It was 5:30 and we was still in the line. The line was all the way up in the "forest." We got there like 3:30 pm. They was telling people to go home cause they were filled to capacity by 5:30. We never got to the water.
Took my granddaughter for the first time she loved it. Been going here for 33 years. This is one of my favorite places
