We couldn’t be more grateful for our amazing property manager Andrea. She went above and beyond in every way, helping us in ways we never could have imagined. From the very start, she made my family’s moving process from Texas to Oregon smooth, stress-free, and truly welcoming. Thanks to her dedication and kindness, our new place isn’t just a house—it feels like home.
I love living here. I absolutely had a fantastic move in experience. I found everyone in the office was super informative and helpful and answered any and all questions I had. I love the amenities west end district has to offer. The pool is fantastic and the fitness center gets the job done. And don’t get me started on the apartment it’s self the walk in closet is spacious, decent kitchen size and I love that I have a kitchen pantry. I don’t even need a car living here this place has everything I need! I love the convenience of living here I can just walk to get my hair and nails done or go to dinner most nights great selection of places to eat. I just can’t say enough good things about this place.
I moved into West End District with my 3 kids in May. The move in process was easy and the staff were great! The apartments are clean, quiet and a great little community. I love how close this apartment is to everything in the area. Plus, the pool in the summer is spacious and always clean! I do wish there was more visitor parking, but I actually have the garage + my spot (I pay extra for that) so I can have a visitor without risking a tow. I have needed maintenance 2x for little things and they came same day and fixed promptly! Also, I will say it isn’t the quietest- but I actually don’t mind it. It helps me sleep (I like the sound of rain and thunderstorm to sleep to) so I don’t mind! I know it’s not for everyone though. Plus it’s a perk I love in building 2, and have amazing quiet neighbors! We all acknowledge one another and it’s been great so far!
I have been here for 3 years, experience has been great. Andrea has been very helpful and responsive from day 1, and always all smile. The community is always being kept in good shape and I can see the maintenance crew really trying their best. I had sent in repair requests and things are always being fixed promptly, without having to chase people down. Obviously, it's close to a major intersection and the railroad, so the noise is there.
The negatives of living in the West End far outweigh any positives that this place can provide. Firstly, location. The building is situated right across the street from the police station and ambulances are constantly going by as well. Expect a lot of sirens throughout the day and night. Oh, don't forget about the 2am train as well. Walls and floors are also very thin, especially if someone is consistently running around above you. The second biggest issue that this apartment complex has is parking. Clearly they did not account for the amount of residents when designing this place, as the open parking lot is consistently full, which means that you have to park in the business area and run the risk of getting towed. Expect at least a $400 charge for that. You can also pay $40 a month for a personal parking spot, but good luck with more than one vehicle. If you're really balling you can have a garage for $200 a month, however, be warned that there have been burglaries to the garages and management is not helpful. Now if you want to have some friends come over and stay the night, make sure that they do not have a car with them. Management does not offer guest parking passes and any cars parked in the business area will be towed by the morning. The area is not well maintained or secure. You will find dog poop all over outside. Trash is consistently overflowing with an assortment of items in the garbage area, drawing in people who will sift through it for bottles and cans in the middle of the night. Amazon packages are also delivered to front doors because Amazon, for some reason does not have access to the mail room; thus packages are stolen frequently. The apartment inside was pretty up to date, but just know you will not be getting your security deposit back. They will nickel and dime you for everything. Oh, and no AC. So when it gets 90 degrees outside, it'll feel the same inside unless you have multiple portable AC units. There are AC units in the hallways that are constantly on, so expect that bill if you so desire to move here.
