Far from a 5 star hotel, but nice for kids. The facility is getting a little worn, but in general nice. Pillows and blankets in the rooms could use a refresh. The prices are a bit outrageous for what you get, but it’s all about the experience for the kids, which is great. Water park is fun and clean. Food options at the hotel are rough and far from any health options if you’re not into pizza, fried food and donuts. Would love to see some healthier options on the menu. Great experience for kids though and a memory maker.
We have been to the Manteca great Wolf many times we are now willing to drive from California to Colorado to only come to this one. It’s clean every single employee, smiley and friendly and helpful. The breakfast dining was an absolute wonderful experience the antique one I can’t reach the counter with my Wheelchair and you can’t get anyone who works there to help. Even though this time I was using my walking sticks, they were still offering to help just absolutely caring. We had an incident with one employee, and we spoke with the manager. Everything was dealt with this place is wonderful. The manager was very attentive. It’s just an all in all very wonderful great wolf. Thank you for such a wonderful experience
We went for my son’s 3rd birthday at the end of August and had a BLAST! The staff were perfect. The pool was so fun and the lifeguards were very engaged so I felt my kid was VERY safe. They have lots a little nods to parental fun too with bars and epic big slides. We had just as much fun as our toddler. We ate lunch from the food service in the pool area and it was fine (I forget the name). We bought a Pup Pass and our kiddo loved all the things that came with that and it felt super worth it. The only thing I’d recommend is bringing your own pillow, the pillows in the room were rock hard and super thick, we didn’t sleep well on them but it just depends on what you like. We also didn’t ask if they had other pillows so maybe that’s an option.
My family and I had a wonderful stay! We spent five nights, and everything was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable, the service was top-notch, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. Traveling with three kids can be a challenge, but this stay was smooth and enjoyable. Great experience overall—we’ll definitely be back!
The hotel portion of the lodge is a perfectly ordinary hotel, middle quality. There are only three elevators to serve all 10 floors of rooms, one of which was broken the entire duration of our 4 day stay. There was almost constantly a line waiting to go up. Only one set of stairs exists and it was not easy to find. Normal hotels could get by with this, as people tend to leave the hotel and not return until the end of the day. The Lodge itself is designed to be the entertainment for families with small children, so families were constantly going up and down to their rooms. The water park was exceptional for an indoor park, but very small compared to outdoor parks. In spite of it being crowded, line waits were very reasonable, usually not exceeding 10 minutes. All of the other captive activities cost extra and are not reasonably priced, so we didn't do them, but from my observation they were all very small, mediocre versions of the activity. All of the captive food vendors were very expensive. The pizza was very good, the ice cream was delicious, the breakfast buffet was not any better than what you typically find for free at other hotel chains, but cost $24/person. The Dunkin Donuts was awful. Families with small children that don't mind spending exorbitant amounts for the convenience of having all the mediocre activities right there in house would have a great time here.
