What are people saying (AI review summary)? This community pool generally receives positive feedback, described as a 'wonderful little pool' suitable for families with various slides and shallow areas for different age groups. Patrons appreciate the friendly staff, cleanliness, and availability of swim lessons, with specific praise for instructors like 'Mr. Ben.' It's noted for being affordable for locals, offering annual passes, plenty of shady tables, and food/drinks for purchase. However, there are significant negative experiences reported concerning management. One reviewer described the director, Rosie Torrez, as 'rude and dismissive' for refusing a refund for a birthday party during a storm warning, forcing the facility to remain open despite safety concerns. Another serious incident involved a parent with back pain being confronted by a lifeguard and manager, who was dismissive of the parent's pain and ultimately called the police when the parent, who claimed to be within 'arm's reach' of their child, refused to re-enter the pool. Slow entry lines were also mentioned as a minor inconvenience.

Love coming here! We are trying the swimming lessons which are done public or private classes. Always clean and well maintained! I wish they would add more to the park.
I'm so glad I found a place for my grandchildren to take swimming lessons this summer. They go for their last lesson tomorrow (June 30, 2023). They have learned so much and we just love their teacher, Mr. Ben!! He has done so well with my grandgirls (both age 8). Can't thank him enough!!
Wonderful little community pool! We enjoyed our Saturday morning here. Two small slides & shallow areas for smaller kids to play. They have 1 large water slide for older kids. Staff was friendly. It was only $5/person for the day for locals. Kids 2 & under are free. They offer a pass for the year, but you would have to go a lot. They have drinks and food for purchase. There are There are plenty of shady tables to eat. The lines did move slowly to enter. They do offer swim classes & swim lessons for kids 3 & older. We will definitely return for another fun swim day!
I usually love this place and bring my son here regularly. He’s enrolled in swim classes, and our family even has a membership—that’s why we decided to host his birthday party here. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate, and we were initially told by a staff member (Maria) that the facility would be closed. However, when we contacted the director, Rosie Torrez, she was surprisingly rude and dismissive. She refused to issue a refund and claimed that the facility would remain open despite an active storm warning. This felt extremely unsafe and irresponsible, especially with the safety of children at stake. I still appreciate the facility itself, but the way this situation was handled and the lack of empathy from management were very disappointing.
Good evening, my children and I visited the pool this evening. When I first walked in I was told that I had to be in the pool with IB because she was only four. I got in the pool sat in the pool with her but after a hour or more my lower back and my lower abdomen started to hurt. The children wanted refreshments so we got out of the pool. When the children were ready to get back in the pool I was still sitting on the side lines. IB went to the side of the pool where she wasn't supposed to be at so one of the lifeguards blew the whistle and told me I had to get in with her. I told him I was hurting and I wasn't getting back in as of yet. So he said well she has to get out, I said I'm right here. I was told upon entry as long as she was in arm's reach, she was fine. So he called the manager. When she came over there, I explained to her my situation and she stated that's your problem. I restated that she told me as long as IB was in arm's reach it was okay. I said ma'am I'm experiencing some pain, what if I miscarry. She said that's not my problem and was talking recklessly. I told her I was done listening to anything that she had to say. My daughter is in arm's reach with a life vest on. She said if I didn't get back in the pool that IB had to get out. I told her she wasn't getting out and I wasn't getting in with the pain I was having. So she called the police on me.
