Lazy river and slides at a family-oriented spot also featuring a toddler section and a pool.
Specific pool temperatures are not consistently published for general public access. As a large outdoor facility in Texas, the water temperature at Nessler Swimming Pool typically varies with ambient weather conditions and is generally not heated to a fixed degree for public use.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This public pool generally receives positive reviews for its affordability, kid-friendly amenities, clean facilities, and attentive lifeguards and staff. Many appreciate its design, allowing parents to easily supervise children. However, several visitors reported negative experiences due to inconsistent and unposted entry rules. Issues included being denied entry for reasons like pool contamination requiring chemical treatment or arbitrary rules about not admitting people during specific hours on weekends, even when the pool appeared empty. These unclear policies have led to frustration and wasted trips for some patrons, despite the overall positive aspects of the facility.

Went there on 5-8-25 at 4:30pm to let the kids play only to be told by the young Hispanic girl her boss said they wasn't letting anyone else in cause they had to put chemicals in the pool Cause to many kids peed and she said they are closing at 6pm. So sadly my kids cried watching everyone else play as we walked to the car. I won't ever be back. So much for driving from leaque city from now on it will schliter baun.
Perfect for the kiddos. Only $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for kids. No food is allowed, but water is ok. Small enough for parents to watch over their children, big enough for the kids to have a great time.
Awesome addition to Galveston, a real nice public pool with great amenities for the kids and a friendly tentative staff!
My first visit & I was very impressed. Prices are great, kid friendly for all ages, clean & well kept, attentive lifeguards, great place! Music was just a little loud. Good variety of music tho.
Went to the pool and was told that they do not let anyone in from 12-3 on the weekends. This information is not posted anywhere and seemed to be a rule the gentlemen in charge was making up rather than a city guideline. The pool was empty, parking lot less than half full, and he claimed they were at max capacity. I understand keeping the pool at regulation capacity but to make a blanket rule to not let anyone in even though people are leaving is an inefficient and inconvenient policy. If that’s how you want to run things make it official and post the rules so people don’t waste their time.
