This is a great park for families. It’s affordable. It’s small enough that your kids can have freedom to roam but you can still see them wherever they are. You can bring disposable water bottles but not metal refillable cups/bottles. You cannot bring in food. But you can exit to eat and then re-enter the park. You can pay to enter with a card but the snack bar is cash only. It’s was a great time for the kids.
We're We're thrilled to have stumbled upon this charming park! Despite its modest size, it offers an abundance of fun for all ages. The kids were in their element by the pool, and the adult slides and lazy river were a welcome surprise. While there's room for improvement in the restrooms and dressing rooms, the park's overall charm and appeal won us over. As with any new experience, I encourage you to try it out and discover its delights for yourself! to have stumbled upon this charming park! This was our first time here. It's a small park but it was really nice. The kids had a lot of fun. You can watch them by the pool. They have 2 adult slides, a small lazy river, and a lot of smiles! My only complaint is about the restrooms and the dressing rooms. The restrooms smelled like urine, which I guess I'm not surprised. And the dressing rooms obviously have showers, but we're clogged up and also smelled bad. We couldn't really change because we could have gotten our clothes wet. But like always, try it for yourself and enjoy!
Tried this place a couple of weeks ago for the first time. I took the advice of others and got there are opening. We were not allowed to bring in water and the concessions were cash only - no ATM available. We were told we couldn't bring our cups in and then we watched another large group all walk in with their cups which was pretty frustrating. If rules are in place, then why cherry pick who has to follow them? We only stayed a little over an hour because we did not have water. Very small place but the slides were really fun. They don't offer floats for the lazy river and I am not sure if they allow floats at all which... what is the point of a lazy river with no floats?? No actual pool area, just a floatless lazy river, two water slides, and an area for little kids.
All I can say is when you park here the sidewalk is not concrete. It starts off as pebbly dirt grit and then it turns into a beautiful concrete huge long circular slab that you can skate on and when I say skate, I mean rollerskate as in quad skate, so I did not stay long I did not enjoy the aquatic festivities. I only wanted to rollerskate and I had to leave to go park somewhere else to enjoy the Sidewalk, but what I saw it looks very nice. Everyone looked to be having a good time and I will tell you living here for 13 years in this area. Texas City is by far the best place ever for me to have seen city parks. They are clean. They always look brand new. They always look up-to-date And I would feel safe going there at night as a single woman.
