Relaxed beach vibe destination featuring kayaking, paddleboarding, water slides and bumper boats.
The water temperature of the Crystal Lagoon at Lagoonfest Texas is generally ambient, adapting to the warm Texas summer weather. Specific, consistent temperature figures are not typically provided; however, the large lagoon is known for offering refreshing and comfortable conditions, making it ideal for swimming and water activities throughout the summer season without active heating or cooling.

Lagoonfest was absolutely incredible — the music, the atmosphere, and the overall vibe make it such a unique summer experience! 🌊☀️ Everything is super well-organized, and it’s definitely one of those places you don’t want to miss if you love enjoying the sun, water, and great energy. The only recommendation I’d make is to create a designated smoking area inside where people can still keep their drinks. Right now, smokers have to leave their beverages behind to step outside, and by the time you come back, your drink is already warm. Having a comfortable smoking zone within the event would make the experience even more enjoyable for everyone. Can’t wait to come back soon!”
Not for us... 2 adults. My husband and I came Friday. I was excited to come, I've seen so many ads on my social media so we came. There is literally nothing to do but 'sit' in the 3 1/2' pool. They have buoys at the 3 1/2' line all throughout the pools and you can't access the rest of the water. It's pointless. The marker is great for kids but sucks for adults. Yes, I know it's not an amusement park but at least allow the adults to access the deeper side of the water. My husband and I took the L and left after an hour. $30 a person is definitely not worth it. We went to the beach instead, the water is beautiful right now.
This was our first time visiting. We got a cabana because we wanted to stay long. It was absolutely well worth it (2 families split $300) We had a blast! Drinks were very weak I had 6 palomas and no real buzz but they were yummy. We really liked the kids chicken tenders ($8) the rest of the food was ok to pretty good the prices were very reasonable. I really enjoyed the fajita fries. We got there at opening 11 and left at 6 and the kids did not want to leave. Fyi the cabanas are the same price no matter what time you get them so get your $$ worth. We plan to visit once a year since we had such a great experience.
Fun in the Sun for All Ages! Lagoonfest was such a blast! From the moment we arrived, the energy was vibrant and the setup was perfect for a day of summer fun. The water was clean, refreshing, and the activities were nonstop — from obstacle courses and paddleboarding to lounging under umbrellas with a drink in hand. There were plenty of food options, music, and spots to chill when you needed a break from the sun. It’s the perfect mix of excitement and relaxation. Whether you’re going with friends, family, or solo, Lagoonfest is definitely worth checking out. I’ll be back for more sun, splashes, and good vibes! The swimming area is not deep. It’s probably 3 1/2-4 feet. The only deep water 10 feet is where the activities (obstacle course, kayaking) are.
80 bucks for 2 adults and 1 children, then you have to pay all the other activities. Only 20% of the pools is available because there are ropes that limit the access. There are no umbrellas for all the people inside the pool. Potentially a good place, but in reality it is not. I do not think I will be back.
