What are people saying (AI review summary)? This club receives highly mixed reviews. Positive feedback highlights it as a fantastic club and the best summer spot, praising its great grounds, pool, and a range of activities including swimming, tennis, and pickleball, with plans for a new playground. There's also specific appreciation for 'great management' and 'great food' (though this is contradicted elsewhere). In stark contrast, numerous negative points are raised, describing the club as poorly run, resembling an 'old age home' rather than a family-centered environment, primarily due to an elderly and undiverse membership. Criticisms include poor board decisions, lack of club improvements, an 'eerie vibe,' and a perceived use of the club as a 'job factory' for family members. The snack bar food is deemed of poor quality, and the General Manager is described as unfriendly, confrontational, and threatening, especially towards children, contributing to a negative experience for younger family members.

Great grounds, great pool, great food!
Love playing tennis with Martin!
This club is poorly run. It looks more like an old age home than a family, member centered club where you would want to take your family. Most of the members are extremely old and the board makes poor decisions about hiring staff, club improvements are non existent. Essentially they use the club as a job factory for family members and there is an overall eerie vibe throughout the place. The food at the snack bar is of poor quality and barely edible. They hired a chef who was going out of business at their own place to manage it. The general manager looks like Norman Bates and doesn't act friendly toward the children. He is also confrontational and threatening if you ask him questions. Our son never wants to go to this place since it has mainly old timers lurking around. There is zero diversity in the members they are all white. Do you and your family a favor and look elsewhere.
Fantastic Club great management we will be building a new playground soon
