Swimming pool that's open during the summer and has a membership requirement.
The pools at Glenwood Recreation Club are heated; however, specific temperature measurements are not publicly available on their website.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This community pool/swim club generally receives positive feedback, with many long-time members expressing nostalgia and appreciation for the facilities, particularly the nice pool. Guests also have positive experiences, noting the 'kids run the candy bar.' However, significant downsides include a very long waitlist and severe crowding on summer weekends, making it difficult to find parking and seating. Parking is a recurring complaint, as members often park in the surrounding neighborhood. Additionally, group swim lessons are scheduled at inconvenient times (midday weekdays), making them impractical for working parents and suggesting the club caters more to families with stay-at-home parents or nannies.

Went there a lot growing up in the 90s. Definitely still a good place
I came here as a guest. It was great! The kids run the candy bar
The pool and facilities are very nice, I can see why it is popular. However, the waitlist is very long and after visiting as a guest, we decided not to bother getting on the list for a couple reasons. First, on summer weekends it can get very busy, such that it is challenging to find parking and even find a place to sit. It's a lot of money to spend on a membership only to be wandering around trying to find a chair/table. Second, it seems to cater to families with a SAHP or nanny- we were excited to learn that the pool opens group swim lessons to non-members, but they are at the most inconvenient times for working parents- midday on weekdays! My friend who is a Glenwood member had to take her kids to a different neighborhood pool for lessons because of this. So after scoping out some area pools this summer, we are going to join one with no waitlist that is, while less fancy, more chill and family-friendly.
Great community pool/swim club. Been coming here since 2004 and love it.
We waited for many years to finally get in. My only complaint is that there's not nearly enough parking, so people end up parking in the neighborhood and taking up spaces from people who live there. Still loving it here season two!
