Clean venue with a pool and a kitchen/café area, for weddings and gatherings, plus friendly staff.
The outdoor resort-style pool at the Cordera Community Center is typically heated to approximately 84°F (29°C). The indoor children's pool is usually maintained at a warmer temperature, around 90°F (32°C).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews highlight various aspects of a community and local services. The Cordera community receives high praise for its friendly atmosphere, numerous amenities (parks, trails, a pool with Pikes Peak views, summer concerts), and its peaceful, safe, and convenient location near the highway. However, there is mixed feedback regarding a local farmers market, with one review calling it a 'glorified craft fair.' A separate event facility is noted as suitable for around 100 guests, providing tables and chairs, but requiring renter cleanup. A significant complaint addresses the HOA's lack of snow removal on community sidewalks despite ongoing dues, raising safety concerns. Finally, a summer music venue is positively reviewed for its Saturday events.

I highly recommend Cordera! The community has a strong sense of belonging -- the people are friendly, and there are several amenities to choose from every day (multiple parks and trails, summer concerts on the lawn, farmer's markets, the swimming pool with an amazing view of the Pikes Peak range, just to name a few). One of my favorite things to do is take a walk around the neighborhood -- I feel at peace. It's quiet, safe, and relaxing. I also love how close it is to the highway for easier access to get around the Springs! AKA Target runs in the mornings as well as checking out new restaurants and shops. It's perfect for anyone looking for a vibrant and welcoming place to call home.
As far as the farmers market (the only one I could find in COS today)..... Don't waste your time or gas $. It's a glorified craft fair with one farm table
Nice place for an event of around 100 guests. The facility has tables and chairs. The intercom system is average. The renter is responsible for cleaning up after the event.
Why havent HOA dues gone down when they don’t clear snow from community sidewalks? If they’re not paying a company to clear them, isn’t that money saved for them? People could get seriously hurt slipping on the ice that builds on these sidewalks when walking with their children or walking their dogs. Something seems wrong with this. After all aren’t residence “required” to clear snow from walkways ties to their house? Why isn’t the HOA required to clear snow from well traveled walk ways?
Great music venue that's here a few Saturdays during the summertime. Show managed by Anonymous presents owner Wayne Hammerstadt.
