The program itself was good. My problem is there are frequent issues and poor communication. Most recently, our classes were canceled on 3-17-25 and we were told that we would hear by "tomorrow" what to expect. As of 4-1-25, there is no word. Calls and texts are unanswered. Emails are now bouncing as well. Not sure what is going on and more than a little frustrated by the situation.
We've been visiting for kid swim lessons and the small group classes and instructors are AMAZING. They know how to talk to kids and build confidence so they actually want to progress in lessons (my son likes lessons here but is otherwise not so sporty/intrinsically motivated). We very much appreciate that they are maintaining this former YMCA location and offer swim lessons and teams for all in our community!
I wish there was a negative star! We paid for my two kids to have private swim lessons. It took Jason 2 weeks to replay to setting up the times for the lessons. Then when we showed up for our lesson the instructor was 30 mins late, and acted like he had no idea why we were there. Then Jason told me he would take on our lessons himself. Lesson day came, we went and were there ready for the lesson and again no instructor. He excused it as he just forgot. I Requested a full refund of the swim lessons 2 weeks ago and I have yet to get a response! Very irresponsible and unprofessional.
We LOVE Full Armour! Strong Christian values that match ours. They form relationships not just with swimmers but also with the whole family. The coaches are amazing. They focus on building team relationships and positively encouraging swimmers. I swim with my kids as well. We have been a part of the team for three years now and wouldn't think of leaving or going somewhere else. The coach is great at personalizing workouts to fit your needs and he modifies when needed due to injury. You don't feel lost in the shuffle, you feel like you are a part of something great. Parents are super helpful too!
Adding to prior review. After a month still no response from the business regarding the funds they won’t refund. No contact, no lessons, no attempt to fix the problem.
