Public swimming pool featuring a 5-ft.-deep main area, 2 water slides, and a snack bar.
Specific pool temperatures for the Nahas Aquatic Center are not consistently published. However, in line with common aquatic facility standards, the large competition pool is generally maintained at a cooler temperature (e.g., 78-82°F or 25.5-27.8°C) suitable for strenuous activity, while the separate shallow teaching/therapy pool is typically kept warmer (e.g., 88-92°F or 31.1-33.3°C) for comfort and instructional purposes.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This pool facility is generally praised for its convenient location, cleanliness, and kid-friendly features such as water slides, a rain fountain, and a large shallow area. Many reviewers highlight the reasonable admission/summer pass prices and commend the lifeguards for their professionalism, attentiveness, and excellent swim lesson instruction. The presence of a snack bar, shaded areas, and various seating options are also appreciated. However, recurring criticisms include a frustratingly slow entry process (15-20 minutes), limited operating hours that are inconvenient for working adults, and a desire for adult-only swimming times. The concession stand has also drawn negative feedback for running out of food quickly, unenthusiastic staff, and annoying music choices.

Convenient location to my home. Nice play areas for kids. Water slide and rain fountain. Clean. Showers in the bath house. It always takes 15 to 20 minutes to get in. No idea why it's such a slow process. Frustrating. Their hours are not great. Probably hard to find help. Still, there's super limited opportunity for swimming when you have a job. Also wish there was an evening for adults only. So many people just drop their kids for the day and leave. The summer pass is a very reasonable price, though. They have a snack bar. Plenty of pool chairs and loungers. Shaded areas, too. Grassy areas if you prefer that.
Pool overall was nice. Not many chairs. Concession ran out of hot dogs, nachos and chips an hour after opening so only food option was candy. Boy working in concession seemed to have no interest in helping people. They were playing Hannah Montana and high school musical music over the speakers which was pretty annoying
Great little pool near the airport, right next to the south side library. Definitely kid focused, as the deepest part of the pool is 5 feet. Massive shallow area that's great for all ages. Two water slides are also available in a separate area for anyone 48" or taller that are included with the very reasonable admission cost. We bring our kids here a couple of times a week during the summer after work for a perfect way to spend an hour or two in the evening. Also a concession stand that has snack type offerings.
First time here this year. The pool was clean and facilities looked nice. The lifeguards did an amazing job saving a child that got too deep and couldn’t swim. They were very organized and professional.
5 stars alone just for the swim lessons experience! The life guards are always so personable, thorough, and easy to talk to! Have been coming here for 3 years now and had not had a single poor experience.
