What are people saying (AI review summary)? The public pool is generally praised for its variety of amenities, including a fun slide, dive board, children's play area, food stand, showers, adult swim hours, and beach chairs. Some find the prices reasonable and appreciate the unique end-of-season dog swim and the availability of swim lessons. However, there are significant criticisms, particularly regarding lifeguard behavior, described as rude, inattentive, and unprofessional. Other frequent complaints include overcrowding, a feeling that the pool is too small, strict rules preventing teenagers from using equipment or the hot tub, early closures, and delays in cleaning. There is also a strong sentiment that the city needs to build a new, larger pool, with some dissatisfaction over the proposed plan to close the existing facility for an extended period during construction.

My teenager could not use the equipment even though he use it before and he is 14 and could not used the hot tub even if there adult and Very mature for his age
It's nice to have a place the kids can get swim lessons. However the city needs to build a new larger pool. They could easily put it right next to the existing pool, but instead they have said they will need to close the existing pool for 2 years while they demolish & build.
Lifeguards can often be unnecessarily rude. Pool is ok, a bit pricey. Usually too many people in too small of a place. Location is convenient.
They didn't wait till it close at 830 and then we waiting another 20 minutes for it to be clean, the teenager was just playing the whole time and didn't watch the kids swimming, more flirting then doing thier job. Go somewhere better. Norwalk sucks. The water was warm tho.
Great public pool. They have a fun slide and a dive board. For smaller kids they have a fun little play area roped off. There are tables to sit and eat at. They have a beverage food stand that is decent. They have on site showers and offer an adult swim hour. There are several beach chairs for relaxing. The prices are very reasonable. At the end of the season they even do a dog swim
